Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Baringo, Kenya. Meet at your Nairobi Hotel and transfer to lake Baringo. In the afternoon enjoy boat ride and a close view of hippos and crocodiles. Overnight: Lake Baringo Country Club. Includes: (L), (D).
Day 2: Maralal. This morning you have an optional bird guided tour at Baringo returning for breakfast in the hotel or after breakfast, depart for Maralal, arriving for lunch at Maralal Safari Lodge. In the afternoon visit the Samburu village. Activities include, taking photography and learning their way of life. Overnight: Maralal Safari Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Loiyangalani, Lake Turkana. Early morning breakfast and depart for Loiyangalani in East Turkana coast. Driving on the spectacular climb up of Losiola and down past Baragoi to South Horri and later Loiyangalani along Lake Turkana. The rough road gets worse as you descent across the ancient lava flows towards the Jade Sea and the Oasis Loiyangalani, lying between the lake and mountain Kulali. Overnight: Oasis lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Loiyangalani. Today's activities include visiting the tribal villages around Loyangalani. You will enjoy traditional shows and hospitality of the El Molo (the smallest tribe in Kenya), Turkana and Rendile tribesmen along the shores of the lake as they engage in their daily activities. Overnight: Oasis Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Maralal. After breakfast, you will embark on southward drive back to Maralal, arriving later in the afternoon with picnic lunch boxes en-route. Overnight: Maralal Safari Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Nairobi. Heading southwards, via the breathtaking Laikipia plains and Nyahururu falls, you will arrive in Nairobi, for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant (African Barbeque Restaurant). After lunch you will embark on afternoon city tour, which include visit to National Museum and Karen Blixen famed for "Out of Africa" movie. Overnight: Hotel Intercontinental. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Days 7 and 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Park, Tanzania. After early morning breakfast you will be transferred to Namanga border and change vehicles, then proceed on to Ngorongoro via Arusha for lunch, arriving late in the afternoon. The next day depart with packed picnic lunch boxes for full day game drive in the park, returning the lodge later in the afternoon. Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Tarangire National Park. Check out after breakfast and transfer to Tarangire through the scenic Great Rift Valley. After lunch, an afternoon game drive is included with chances of seeing among others, African elephants, the elusive leopard, plain games and the rare African hunting dog. You will return to the lodge at sunset. Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Days 10 and 11: Zanzibar. After breakfast, with en-route game drive, transfer to Arusha's Kilimanjaro Airport and connect your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Then will be a full day spent with spice tour/stone town of Zanzibar. Overnight: Zanzibar Serena Inn. Includes: (HB).
Day 12: Dar es Salam. After breakfast you will be transferred to DAR airport, upon arrival you will met and embark on a city tour. Overnight: Movenpic Royal Palm Hotel. Includes: (HB).
Day 13: Departure. After breakfast, you will be transferred to DAR airport for your final outbound departure.
