Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta airport you will be met by our airport representative. After short pre-safari briefing and orientation, depart for Lake Nakuru, for a late afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for it's large concentration of pink flamingoes and other birdlife. Here you have wonderful opportunities for photography. This is considered to be the first rhino sanctuary for both the black and white species. You shall have a chance to see many species including reedbuck, bushbuck, warthog, leopard, baboon and giraffe and, if lucky, the tree climbing lions or elusive leopard. Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge. Includes: (D).
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve. Depart to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley and then via Narok town (the major Maasai administrative center). Plains game are found here in staggering numbers which in turn supports a tremendous predator population. During your afternoon game drive, you shall have an opportunity to see herds of buffalo, lion, giraffe, elephant, warthog, ostrich, cheetah, hyena and many others. Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve. Morning and afternoon game drive across the Savannah. Masai Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here black rhinos browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Large numbers of hippos gather and swim in the Mara River. Boasting Kenya's largest predator population, the reserve is renowned for its large lion prides. You will finish today by spending the afternoon on a game drive looking for wildebeest migration or perhaps spot the "BIG 5": elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard! Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Days 4-8: Mombasa Beach. After breakfast, journey back to Nairobi arriving for your African barbeque lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your afternoon flight to Mombasa, which is the second largest city in Kenya, lying on the Indian Ocean. Overnight: Mombasa Continental Beach Resort. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Nairobi departure. Breakfast and later check-out of your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your AM flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyata International Airport for outbound departure flight. Includes: (B).
