Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and greet at the Airport and then transfer to Mt. Meru Game Lodge for dinner and overnight. Includes: (B).
Day 2: Arusha -Tarangire National Park. After safari briefing your safari starts to Tarangire National park which is normally characterized by good wildlife during dry season huge herds of elephants can be seen in this park and it is famous for its Baobab Trees. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge. Includes: (B).
Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park. Your safari continues to Mto wa Mbu, where one can test papayas, mangos, bananas and other exotic fruits. Game drives Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Includes: (B).
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch you will experience the great variety and density of animals in the second largest Caldera on earth. The most beautiful game-drives you may experience in the late afternoon: Most of the people have left the crater-floor, the light gets soft and the activity of the wild animals increases. Please have a sufficient quantity of film-rolls with you! You will take more pictures of this fantastic African landscape, flora and fauna than you have ever expected. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Includes: (B).
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park. Passing Ngorongoro crater rim you descend through a really impressive landscape down to Oldupai Gorge. There you will find the most complete and eldest proofs of human development. Stop for the information’s about the cradle of mankind! Continue to the heart of Serengeti. Dinner and overnight (Special) Campsite Serengeti. Includes: (B).
Days 6–9: Serengeti National Park. You will have plenty of time to explore the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful National Parks in the world with an incredible live stock. Your game drives will be adapted to the animals’ position. This season is also called “cat’s time”, because all big cats are going hunting more as the big herds are standing in the North, in Maasai Mara.
As all our safaris have no limit of mileage and time, you have the best chances to become witness of a hunting scene. You will also make an excursion in direction of Lobo and Fort Ikoma. Dinner and overnight (Special) Campsite Serengeti. Includes: (B).
Day 10: Serengeti National Park - Tanzania-Kenya border Isibanya – Kenya (Maasai Mara Game reserve). Heading for Lake Victoria you will pass the Western Corridor and drive to the Tanzania/Kenya border at Isibanya. Change to our Kenya agency’s vehicle and drive into Maasai Mara. Dinner and overnight at Special Campsite along the Mara River.
Days 11–13: Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will have plenty of time to discover the Maasai Mara. Game drives according the animals’ situation. The Maasai Mara is the northern part of the Serengeti Ecosystem which is characterized by many different species of wild animals all year round. In July normally the world famous Great Migration facing north crosses the Mara River and the Sand River. Until end of October/beginning of November about 2.5 million wildebeests and zebras can be seen in the Maasai Mara. A unique spectacle showing up in Serengeti from June to November. Dinner and overnight at Special Campsite along the Mara River.
Day 14: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi. After breakfast you will leave Maasai Mara and drive to Nairobi Airport. Lunch on route, a dayroom up to 18.00 will be provided. Later Transfer to the airport. Includes: (B), (L).
- November – March: In this season normally approx. 2.5 million animals are on their “Great Migration” into southern Serengeti! According to the rainfalls in these months the herds move southwards. You will have the chance to participate in this worldwide unique spectacle! As all our safaris have no limit of mileage and time, clients will get to know the Serengeti in total - clients will therefore also visit Ngong Hill and Moru Kopjes - known as “Islands in the Sea of Grass”.
