Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival / Makalle. Arrive in Addis Ababa Bole international Airport and transfer to your hotel for check in. After taking a rest and lunch take the flight to Makalle.

Day 2: Mekalle / Amedeilla. Drive Mekella to Amedeilla via Braille. On the way camel caravans. O/N. Camping.

Day 3: Dallol. Drive Addis Ababa to Amedeilla via Braille. On the way camel caravans. O/N. Camping.

Day 4: Dallol / Ert-Ale. Amedeilla to Ert-ale via Kusruwad. At late in the afternoon start walking to climb Ert-ale Mountain. Spent the night by admiring and taking pictures of the Volcano. Take a rest.

Day 5: Ert-Ale / Dallol. Return back to Amedeilla. O/N. Camping.

Day 6: Dallol. Excursion to the salt Workers, Dallol’s Sulpher Zone, Salt Canyon and Yellow Lake. O/N. Camping.

Day 7: Dallol / Makalle. Drive Amedeilla to Mekalle. Spot the camel caravans. O/N. Hotel.

Day 8: Back to Addis Ababa. Fly Makalle to Addis Ababa. Start the tour of Addis Ababa from Mekal Square. Visit Trinity Cathedral, National Museum and Lucy, ethnographic Museum and finally Merkato.

Day 9: Addis Ababa / Dire Dawa / Harar. Fly Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa. Drive to Harar and visit the walled and old city of Harar, Poet Arthur Rimbaud’s House, Harar Museum. In the evening, the chilling performance of feeding the hyenas. O/N. Hotel.

Day 10: Addis Ababa / Departure. Drive back to Dire Dawa. Fly back to Addis Ababa. Departure.
