Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi where we will welcome you and transfer to your hotel for a briefing about the next days. Depending on arrival time we can arrange a city tour or a visit to any place of your interest. D/B Fairview Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park. Depart from you Hotel around 8.00 a.m. and drive via Namanga to Amboseli. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and go for game drive later in the afternoon. If you are lucky you see Mt. Kilimanjaro with a sunset. D/FB Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park. On your morning and afternoon game drives you will come across many elephant families and big bulls. You are looking out for lions and cheetahs and watch various herbivores. You will spend the hottest time of the day in the shady and beautiful compound of the lodge from where you can safely observe passing animals. D/FB Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli – Tsavo West. You will join the convoy to drive on a rough road to Tsavo West. On you way you will pass a only few hundred year old black lava flow – Shetani (devil). Lunch at the camp and game drive later in the afternoon. D/FB Severin Safari Camp.

Day 5: Tsavo West. Today you take you breakfast at the Mzima Springs. At this time of the day it is very quiet and cool. Watch the hippos, crocodiles and fish from the underground bunker, while monkeys and birds hop around in the trees. Proceed with your game drive up to lunch time. Later in the afternoon you spend time searching for the Lesser Kudus, Elephants, Fringed-ear Oryx and many more. D/FB Severin Safari Camp.

Day 6: Tsavo West – Taveta - Mkomazi National Park. Depart early morning for the Transfer to the Tanzanian border at Taveta, where you will be awaited by your driver for the next days in Tanzania. D/FB Babu’s Camp.

Day 7: Full day Mkomazi National Park. Visiting George Adamson/ Tony Fitzjohns breeding program for the African Wild dogs and Black Rhinos. Overnight: Babu’s Camp.

Day 8: Mkomazi National Park – Arusha – Meserani Snake Park – Tarangire National Park

Depart from Mkomazi National Park to Arusha then to Tarangire National Park via the town of Moshi then to Arusha , meet and greet with the clients at the office for a safari briefing then depart from Arusha to Meserani Snake Park and Maasai Museum, here clients will get to some of the snakes that are to be found in Tanzania and East Africa. Clients will also visit a Maasai Museum and get to know about Maasai Culture. From Meserani Snake Park and Maasai Museum Meserani clients will then proceed to Tarangire National Park. Once in Tarangire National Park clients will have a short game drive in Tarangire National Park and proceed to the Camp. Clients will then meet up with the crew who would have set up the camp in a private location in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight Special Campsite in the Tarangire National Park.

Day 9: Tarangire National Park. The day is spent exploring Tarangire National Park, in search of its predators and prey. Drive all the way Silale and Gurusi Swamps. If clients have luck on there side, Clients will get to see Pythons coiled up in trees. Retiring to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park. After breakfast with picnic lunch boxes clients will depart from Tarangire National Park to Mto Wa Mbu via the village of Makuyuni, Once at Mto Wa Mbu Clients will stop at a fruit kiosk, here clients will do fruit testing, fruits like Red Banana’s (this is the specialty at this village Just in Mto Wa Mbu the villages grow 120 spices of Banana’s) Custard Apples (there are 3 types of verities). Papaya and other fruits of the season. After fruit testing clients will enter Lake Manyara National Park, spend the day game watching in Lake Manyara National Park till late afternoon. The park is famous for Tree climbing Lions, Elephants, and lots of bird life in this park. Later in the afternoon come out of the park, climb the Great Rift Valley and proceed to African Sunstar Resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast with leisure depart with lunch boxes to Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch clients will experience the great variety and density of animals in the second largest Caldera on earth. The most beautiful game drives clients may experience in the late afternoon: Most of the people have left the crater floor, the light gets soft and the activity of the wild animal’s increases. Please have a sufficient quantity of film-rolls! As clients will take more pictures of this fantastic African landscape, flora and fauna than you have ever expected. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Iincludes: (FB).

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park. Passing Ngorongoro crater rim clients descend through a really impressive landscape down to Oldupai Gorge. There clients will find the most complete and eldest proofs of human development. Stop for the information about the cradle of mankind! Continue to the heart of Serengeti. Clients will meet up with the crew who would have set up the camp in a private area. Dinner and overnight Special Campsite in Serengeti National Park.

Days 13 & 14: Serengeti National Park. Clients will have plenty of time to explore the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful National Parks in the world with an incredible live stock. Dinner and overnight (Special) Campsite Serengeti. Includes: (FB). Client’s journey is adapted to your travel period:

- In November-March: in this season normally approx. 2.5 million animals are on their “Great Migration” into southern Serengeti! According to the rainfalls in these months the herds move southwards. You will have the chance to participate in this worldwide unique spectacle! As all our safaris have no limit of mileage and time, clients will get to know the Serengeti in total - clients will therefore also visit Ngong Hill and Moru Kopjes - known as “Islands in the Sea of Grass”.

- In June-October: This season is also called “cat’s time”, because all big cats are going hunting more as the big herds are standing in the North, in Maasai Mara. Clients will also be offered an excursion to Fort Ikoma and Lobo area, the “rolling land” in the North Serengeti. After game drive to Lobo springs and along the Gagoti plains.

Day 15: Serengeti National Park – Isibanya – Maasai Mara. Leave Serengeti early morning to reach the border at Isibanya around midday. Your Kenya driver will await you and take you to the Maasai Mara Game reserve. Depending on the season the mobile tented camp will be set along the Mara or Sand River. D/FB mobile tented camp.

Day 16 & 17: Maasai Mara. On extended game drives you will get to know the different inhabitants of the northern extension of the Serengeti. Depending on season the migration might be the way – July until November. But anyway the Maasai Mara has an interesting wild life throughout the year. D/FB mobile tented camp.

Day 18: Maasai Mara – Nairobi. You leave the wilderness behind you and reach Nairobi for lunch at Boulevard Hotel, where day room is booked for you until 18.00. Transfer to the airport according your departure time.
