Day 1: Nairobi. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi. Meet and greet with Bush Trucker Tours and transfer to Fairview Hotel. Fairview Hotel. Includes: (HB). Day 2: Nairobi. In the morning go for a City Tour and proceed to Daphne Sheldrick's Orphaned Elephant at 11.00 a.m. Lunch at Carnivore and visit to Giraffe Manor and Karen Blixen Museum in the afternoon. Fairview Hotel. Includes: (FB). Day 3: Nairobi – Meru. Start from the hotel early in the morning for long but scenic drive. You pass Mt. Kenya on the East side and descend to Meru National park at Meru town. Lunch at the camp and game drive in the afternoon. Off Beat Meru Camp. Includes: (FB). Day 4: Meru. Experience the open savanna, Commiphora and acacia bush land and the many rivers in this lovely park with view on Mt. Kenya and the Nyambeni Hills. You will come across the Northern fauna, like reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Oryx antelope, Somali ostrich and Grevy zebra. Off Beat Meru Camp. Includes: (FB). Day 5: Meru – Aberdare’s. This time you pass Mount Kenya on the Western side and have a stop at the equator. For lunch you will be at the ranch and proceed just after to Solio Ranch for game drive. Sandai Ranch. Includes: (FB). Day 6: Aberdare’s. Depart after breakfast to cross the Aberdare range. You will do some game drive in the lower part and then ascend to the moorland. Visits to the waterfalls is worth it, but please have good shoes, the paths are steep and slippery. Picnic lunch and proceed to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight. After dinner night game drive to search for nocturnal animals. Crater Lake Lodge. Includes: (FB). Day 7: Lake Naivasha / Hell’s Gate. Early morning you drive through the huge geothermal power station to visit Hell’s Gate National park. This small area has impressive tall lava walls and a beautiful landscape. Before lunch you go for a 1 hour boat ride at Elsamere, the former house of Joy and George Adamson. A lovely lunch buffet is set in the flowering compound. Get back to Crater Lake for a guided walk in the afternoon and sun downer on the crater rim. If you wish you can go for an other night game drive after dinner. Crater Lake Lodge. Includes: (FB). Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru. Just a 2 hour drive and you are in the park. Game drive until lunch to see the flamingos and pelicans. In the afternoon further game drive in search of black and white rhinos, leopards, buffalo's, rare Rothschild giraffes and many more. Lake Nakuru Lodge. Includes: (FB). Day 9: Lake Nakuru. This park has a high density of game what increases chances for interesting animal observations. Lake Nakuru Lodge. Includes: (FB). Day 10: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara. An estimated 6 hours drive through Maasai land. Check in at Base camp for lunch and go for an afternoon game drive later. Base camp. Includes: (FB). Days 11-13: Maasai Mara. Encounter the rolling hills of the Maasai Mara and its numerous game. Base camp. Includes: (FB). Day 14: Maasai Mara. Take your time in driving back to Nairobi. Lunch on the way.
