For those with a genuine interest in birds, this expedition shall be an eye opener and also the ultimate prescription to your ornithological quest. Our first day will see us descending to the Rift’s floor down to Lake Magadi at an elevation of 610 meters above the sea level. This is a very hostile environment but its rare species of birds are absolutely rewarding. Lake Naivasha is our next destination with over 600 birds’ species around its environment waiting for our identification.
Lake Baringo on our itinerary still offers us time with its specialties before embarking on the most challenging ornithological spotting in Kakamega Forest where more rare species exist. We now tread on with one mission of spotting the biome-restricted species of Lake Victoria. From here we now wander to the least known Kipchorian Gorge with its unmatched species of birds and then move to our final spot, Lake Nakuru that is highly reputed as the ornithological spectacle in globe. We can eat our hearts out here with huge conglomeration of the Greater and lesser flamingos and other water birds as well as other birds. From Lake Nakuru we now drive back to Nairobi where this tour ends.
