Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Departure from Kampala or Entebbe. Early morning departure for the south with a stopover at the Uganda Equator, take pictures and go for shopping. Continue south to Mbarara where you will have lunch at the Agip Motel or the Rwizi Arch Hotel. Then proceed through the beautiful terraced mountain country referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa” arriving evening for dinner and overnight either at Sanctuary Lodges - GFC or Buhoma Homestead. Day 2: Early morning breakfast, then with picnic lunch, travel to the park tracking base for a briefing, ranger and porter allocation before starting the gorilla trek. You will find a Gorilla family within 30 mins – 8hrs. After a picnic lunch in the forest, an hour with the Gorillas, return to base for dinner and overnight at Sanctuary Lodges - GFC or Buhoma Homestead. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
