SEDONA: The Aramaic Breath of Life: Awakening in the Desert – Sept 22-27th
Join international Aramaic spirituality mystic Dale Allen Hoffman as he takes you on a profound journey into what the ancient Aramaic culture of Yeshua/Jesus – called Madbra. Madbra, translated in the King James Bible as “desert” or “wilderness”, is the space within our consciousness that holds our deepest yearnings, fears, judgments and temptations. Left ignored and unacknowledged, these “shadows” can literally take over and run our lives. Yet, when we recognize and embrace these shadowy aspects of our consciousness, we experience a reintegration and balance of energy that participants acknowledge as “a shift that was greater than any in my life”.
Awakening in the Desert
Experience the exhilarating purification of a morning sunrise desert river baptism and StillPoint/Samadhi Breathing as Dale Allen Hoffman brings the sacred teachings of Yeshua to life from the ancient Aramaic language in which He first spoke them. Dale offers a living, breathing vision of Yeshua’s most misunderstood teachings through clear interpretations in English, and with prayer, breath work, and vocal intonations. Discover stunning insights from original Aramaic scriptures and other ancient manuscripts about the seemingly miraculous capacity of the human mind and the awakening consciousness of humanity.
The Aramaic Breath of Life
When Yeshua made statements such as “I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life” or “I Am the Light of the world”, was he speaking about himself? In the Coptic Gospel of Thomas, Yeshua spoke of the Kingdom of Heaven as being “rolled up in your presence,” “has already come but you do not comprehend it,” and is “spread out upon the earth but men do not see it.” With specific exercises Dale will help us reawaken our conscious awareness of what Yeshua referred to as mlkootha d’Alaha (realm of God) and mlkootha d’Shmaya (realm of Heaven), exposing the rich spiritual wisdom that has been veiled beneath almost two millennia of misunderstandings, skewed translations, intentional manipulation, and a general lack of spiritual perception.
In the Aramaic language of his time, Yeshua taught about the spiritual dimension of Heaven: that it is spread out upon the Earth, within us and in our midst, nearer than our hands. Through the many layers of translation and interpretation that have resulted in today’s Christian bibles, many of these teachings have been lost or deeply misunderstood.

Itinerary for Sedona Aramaic Yeshua Spiritual Retreat
Day 1 Sept 22 (-/-/-)
Arrival at the Briar Patch Inn at 4:00 pm. We’ll meet for a group get-together at 5:00pm, opening circle ceremony followed by dinner and a restful night. If you are flying into Phoenix you can carpool to Sedona with some of the other participants or take the shuttle! Once settled in we’ll using the “Talking Stick” to express our deepest fears, desires and prayers of our hearts. We spend the next four days exploring and moving through the sacred Sedona land. We’ll work with ritual, ceremony, meditation and discussion. There’s no definite schedule for these days because in Sedona we work with the energy present in the moment!
Day 2 Sept 23 (b/-/-)
This morning we start with a Sunrise River Baptism. In the morning we’ll have a StillPoint–Samadhi Breathing Session. StillPoint–Samadhi Breathing is one of the most profound healing tools you will ever experience. Inspires deep, exponential, process-oriented growth quickly. StillPoint is the “hovering” space, prior to individual consciousness, before the creation of all thought forms including emotions, feelings, ideas, ideas, feelings, beliefs and identity.
“The soul feels such a sweet and wonderful delight that almost everything falls away – it falls into a kind of swoon. The breathing and all bodily functions gradually subside… All exterior strength is lost, and the soul’s strength increases so that it can more thoroughly enjoy the bliss… Union and rapture or elevation, or what they call flight of the spirit or transport… These are all different names for the same thing which is also called ecstasy.”
~St. Teresa of Avila
After lunch we’ll have an informal Q&A Session. This is the time to ask Dale anything that your heart desires in a safe environment. Would you like some conscious Light shed on Yeshua’s more difficult to understand teachings? Curious about the history of the Holy Bible? Just ask. Followed by the Talking Stick in the evening!
“When the profound ecstasy of God falls over you, the body becomes absolutely still, the breath ceases to flow, and the thoughts are quiet – banished, every one, by the magic command of the soul. Then you drink of God’s bliss and experience an intoxication of joy that not a thousand draughts of wine could give you… When you can feel your presence in all creation, and also know the Joy that is beyond creation, then you are a God-like being… You are in every blade of grass and on the mountaintop; and you can feel every cell of your body and every atom of space.”
Day 3 Sept 24 (b/-/-)
After breakfast we’ll Pray In My Shem: The Aramaic Prayer of Yeshua. Dale offers a living, breathing vision of the ancient Aramaic Lord’s Prayer (“Our Father”) that is profoundly intimate to how Yeshua and his listeners would have experienced its depth of vibration within themselves nearly 2,000 years ago. Numerous speakers and scholars offer theological insights into the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer but Dale offers us the opportunity of an authentic direct, personal experience of this most Sacred of human prayers from within the spaciousness of our own heart. In the afternoon we’ll enjoy a local hike to the unusual rock formation of Devil’s Bridge. The views from here are outstanding – a very special place. In the evening we’ll get together for the Talking Stick.
Day 4 Sept 25 (b/-/-)
This morning we’ll gather for a Talking Stick Session and in the afternoon gather for Home in Emptiness: Living Yeshua’s Original Aramaic Be-Attitudes. Dale shares how Yeshua’s original Aramaic beatitudes were originally a step-by-step process for the realization of our deepest spiritual essence. Rather than what has been manipulated into a feel-good set of “theological promises”, Yeshua was very clearly pointing us toward the direct, personal experience of what He called Rakhma, the indescribable love that flows forth from the center-point of one’s True Being. We ultimately recognize that we are truly “conscious, creative vessels of Alaha – The Absolute, Only Being”.
In the afternoon we’ll go into town and enjoy some of the art galleries and stores that the town has to offer.
Day 5 Sept 26 (b/-/-)
Today we’ll start with an Aramaic Healing Circle with Sacred Water Healing Ceremony. The Aramaic Healing Circle is a profound fusion of meditation, conscious breathwork, ancient Aramaic teachings, vocal intonations and practices to nurture awareness and cultivate deep release. Focus is on the release and transmutation of energies and beliefs which conceal the true nature of our inherent Divinity. Dale unfolds deepening layers of exercises, breathing practices, ancient Aramaic intonations and prayers to help pierce the veil of what Yeshua (Jesus) called our Temple (Aramaic Hykhla) and to consciously experience what He called Enana, or, “The I within the I.”
This Aramaic Healing Circle climaxes with The Sacred Water Healing Ceremony accompanied by a deeply profound musical soundtrack. The Sacred Water Healing Ceremony is a powerful opportunity to wholly let go of and release anything that is blocking the natural expression of our true Light. Closing Circle with Anointing Ceremony.
Day 6 Sept 27 (b/-/-)
We leave Sedona today renewed and with a change of heart. New friends have been made and old friendships made stronger. We look forward to the challenge of bringing this new dream home with us!
