Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares. Pick up from Kenyatta Airport or your hotel in Nairobi and drive to the Aberdares. Either picknick or lunch in the hotel. Later in the afternoon drop off at Tree Tops lodge. It is an experience of your lifetime to observe the wild animals coming day and night to the waterholes and saltlicks in front of the Lodge. Day 2: Aberdares – Samburu. Passing Mt. Kenya and Isiolo we continue our safari through Samburu land and reach Buffalo Springs Reserve. Game drive while crossing Buffalo Springs Reserve to reach our today's destination Samburu National Reserve. First chance to see the fauna of the northern area. Overnight Bush Trucker mobile Camp or any of the lodges/tented lodges.

Day 3: Samburu. Early morning game drive along the Ewaso Ngiro River. An added attraction to the river area is a wide gallery forest of acacia and doum palms. The river provides pools for hippos and sand pits for basking crocodiles. A large variety of wildlife is attracted by the river as a watering place. Afternoon game drive to the gaunt hills of Samburu Game Reserve, a favorite area by the Beisa oryx, Grevy zebras and long-necked gerenuks. Day 4: Samburu. Morning game drive to the Buffalo Springs Game Reserve, afternoon game drive Samburu Game Reserve. This day is dedicated to search for a leopard, so we will spend our time in areas loved by this elusive animal. Overnight Bush Trucker mobile Camp or any of the lodges/tented lodges.

Day 5: Samburu – Maralal. Today our safari leads through scenic Samburu land. You will have plenty of chances to see Samburu warriors in their colourful dresses guarding their cattle or wandering from boma to boma (tribal village). For lunch we reach Maralal Safari Lodge, which lies perched on the edge of a forested hill. A leisure afternoon to observe animals in front of the lodge or optional a guided walk in the reserve. D/FB Maralal Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Maralal – Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria. Lake Baringo is one of the two fresh water lakes in the Rift valley, famous for its bird life. Crocodiles bask in the sun and hippos are coming out at night to graze. Those who are interested can visit the snake park near by or go for a boat ride. We will have lunch at the lake and proceed later on to Lake Bogoria. D/FB Lake Bogoria Hotel.

Day 7: Lake Bogoria. Early morning game drive along the lake. Walk along the lake shore to admire the geysers and flamingos. The lake region is an El Dorado for bird lovers. Lunch and swimming at the hotel. In the afternoon we return to the lake watching out for the Greater Kudu and maybe we also find a leopard tortoise beside the road. D/FB Lake Bogoria Hotel.

Day 8: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru National Park. We continue our safari passing sisal plantations and reach Nakuru town for lunch. Afternoon game drive along the lake shore inside the park. The roseate mass of flamingos along the shoreline is a spectacle of immense beauty. D/FB Bush Trucker mobile tented camp private Campsite or Lake Nakuru Lodge or Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 9: Lake Nakuru National Park. Early morning game drive in search of rhinos. Lake Nakuru is a famous Rhino Sanctuary and shelters above 60 white and 60 black rhinos. Afternoon game drive in search of one of the leopards living in this park. D/FB Bush Trucker mobile tented camp private Campsite or Lake Nakuru Lodge or Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 10: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara. Early morning departure, since it is quite a strenuous and long but beautiful drive to the Masai Mara. Lunch either enroute or in the lodge and game watching on the way to the accommodation. D/FB Bush Trucker mobile tented camp, Basecamp or any lodge/luxury tented camp of your wish.

Days 11-13: Masai Mara. Whole day excursion or morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, with its richness in species and abundance of wildlife it is one of the world's best game viewing reserves. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, hyenas, jackals, hippos, crocodiles and many birds await you. You will love it! Who likes can experience on an early morning balloon ride and Champaign breakfast. D/FB Bush Trucker mobile tented camp, Basecamp or any lodge/luxury tented camp of your wish.

Day 14: Masai Mara – Nairobi. Drive or fly back to Nairobi. Lunch and later transfer to the airport.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
