We visit all three of the best wine regions in the Cape (Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek) for tastings of Cape wines, cheeses and olive oils. Lunch (own account) is at a Franschhoek restaurant of your choice (this is the town where the French Huguenots settled in the late 1600’s) This tour highlights the villages and valleys, including the gracious Cape Dutch architecture. Lunch (own account) will be at a restaurant of your choice in the vibey V&A waterfront, South Africa's most visited destination. The afternoon’s itinerary will take you into the townships surrounding the Mother City, where you will have a chance to interact with the township dwellers as they go about their daily routine and find out more about their past, their future and what currently drives them. Return to your hotel at around 17:00.
