Day 1: Arrival at Lungi Freetown Airport. Upon arrival you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Settle into hotel. Your own provision as to dinner, as possible late hour arrival. Day 4: Travel to Northern Interior Town of Makeni. Trip to Makeni - northern region. Visit the national rail museum en route in Cline Town. Check into Wusum Hotel in Makeni. After lunch - local tour. Day 5: Visit a socially disadvantaged school - Hearing Impaired School in Makeni where you will be entertained culturally before travelling to Bumban Village for another cultural experience. Afternoon return to Makeni and lunch at the Wusum Hotel and overnight. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 6: Day Excursion to Banana Island. Depart Makeni for Banana Island, enroute visit Bureh Town Village Beach before arriving at Kent where you will board the boat for Banana Island. You have the opportunity to tour the 18th Century Slave Trading Post at Kent before leaving for Banana Island. Lunch on the island at the Guesthouse chalets. Take a tour of Historic Banana Island and experience the Island’s involvement in the 18th Century Slave Trade before retiring to your Eco-Lodge Chalets. Overnight at Banana Island Chalets. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 7: Transfer to Peninsular Beach Resort. Check out of Banana Island and transfer to Mamma Beach Gardens on the Peninsular. Enjoy Mamma Beach and relax for the rest of the day or visit Tombo Fishing Village. Overnight at Mamma Beach Gardens. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 8: Peninsular Beaches – River No. 2 and Sussex. Check out of Mamma Beach Gardens and Transfer Sussex or River No 2 Beach. Arrive at Sussex or River No. 2 and check into your seaside chalets. Enjoy the beach at Sussex or River No. 2 for the rest of the day. Overnight at Sussex or River No. 2 Beach Chalets. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 9: River No. 2, Guma Nature Trail and Sussex. This morning you will hike the Guma Nature Trail and visit the Water Falls or your other option is to relax on the beautiful No. 2 Beach and do nothing. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
