Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Meeting on Georgia-Armenia border. Excursion to Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries. Visiting the trout farm in Dilijan, where our guests have an opportunity to see the methods of trout breeding and even taste it. Right after tasting we will visit Haghartsin, Goshavank and long-awaited Lake Parz. You will enjoy the light dinner and herbal tea-drinking. Having rest in country-style cottages. Day 2: Excursion to Sevan (Sevanavank) and Noradouz. Meeting the famous Armenian symbols - khachkars of Noradouz. Return to Yerevan. Trip to Moughni. Enjoying the motets. Visiting tonratoun, a place, where Armenian grandmothers bake our traditional bread - lavash. Besides you will watch the master-class of goat-cheese making. Banquet in the national tavern to the songs and dances of national ensemble. Day 3: Excursion to Garni and Geghard - a member of UNESCO World Heritage. Here you will watch the preparation of Armenian dried fruits and Armenian national dessert - gata. Dinner in one of hospitable peasant’s houses, where you will take first-hand part in khorovats-making (Armenian “barbeque”). If you wish we will teach you playing nardi (Armenian “backgammon”) with pleasure. Return to Yerevan. Visiting “Ararat” Armenian Brandy Factory with cognac tasting. Trip to carpet factory, where our guests will acquaint with the history of Armenian carpet-making and even buy it at request. Evening round-up excursion through Yerevan city, enjoying the marvellous view of “singing fountains”. Day 4: Excursion to Ejmiatsin and Zvartnots - an ancient sightseeing complex, another exclusive part of UNESCO World Heritage. Visiting 3 Virgins churches: church of Saint Hripsimeh (618), a domical basilica of Saint Gayaneh (630, reconstructed in 1652) with 3-arched vestibule (1983) and a church of Shoghakat (1694). The Ejmiatsin monastery is an official residence of Catholicos of Armenians. Visiting Zvartnots – a temple of vigil forces of XI century. Transfer to the airport. Notes: Price Includes:
