This unforgettable photographic adventure trip, suitable only for smaller groups able to enjoy nature, starts with the exploration of the Krizna jama (Cross Cave). Fully equipped with caving gear you will feel like a true explorer while taking a rubber raft down 13 underground lakes. Photographic tuition will be provided by a professional speleologist and photographer who will also ensure safety. Back on the surface, you will go on a walking tour of the major sights of the Rakov Skocjan nature reserve and solve the riddle of mysterious Lake Cerknica.

Photography: Cave photography is very technical. It requires special techniques and team work. You will learn how to set up lights for the right exposure and how to create interesting shadows. Painting with light is another interesting way of making photos and you can try your luck with catching water drops at the moment they hit the stalagmite.

- Three Days Adventure (From 275 EUR) Includes: Transportation (from anywhere in Slovenia), two nights accommodation at tourist farm or nearby hotel on FB (full board) basis, cave exploration fee, all necessary caving equipment rental, cave guidance, and three days of photography tuition.

Tour Details:
- Recommended equipment for cave photography: A sturdy tripod, wide-angle and macro lenses and a flash (preferably a separate flash unit).
- Bring warm clothes, a fleece jacket, warm socks (two pairs), comfortable trousers – the temperature inside the cave is 8 degrees Celsius (46°F) all year round.
- Caving equipment will be provided before entering the cave (rubber boots, caving suit, a helmet and flashlights).
- You will spend around 4-6 hours inside the cave.
- Cave access depends on weather conditions. After periods of heavy rain the water in the cave can rise above its normal level, which can render trips beyond the first lake impossible. In this case an alternative itinerary can be arranged.
