This is a shorter version of our Patagonia walking discovery program. In ten days travel to Argentina and Chile where you will have the chance to loop the mythical trekking circuit of Paine National Park, through forests, crossing streams, and walking side by side with glaciers. In the end you will visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina. Your Patagonia “door” is the Tango magical city of Buenos Aires.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: El Calafate
Arrive at El Calafate. Transfer from the airport to the hosteria.
Lodging: Hostería Roble Sur

Day 2: El Calafate - perito moreno - Torres del Paine
Van transfer from El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park. Visit Glaciar Perito Moreno. Van transfer to Las Torres (Torres del Paine National Park), crossing the Chilean border (410 km / 255 mi). Dinner will be prepared by the cook.
Lodging: Camp site in Las Torres or Hostería*

Day 3: Torres del Paine: Mirador Torres del Paine (6-7 h)
Return walk, without backpack, climbing to place where you can have a clear view of the three Paine towers.
Lodging: Camp site in Las Torres or Hosteria*

Day 4: Trekking Circuit del Paine: Las Torres | Dickson (34 km / 21 mi | 8-9 h)
You start early to walk between Las Torres and Puesto Seron (4 h). In the afternoon we hike to Dickson hut (hot showers available) (4-5 h). This is a long but rewarding day with incredible views, entering deep the wildlife areas of the National Park.
Lodging: Dickson Refuge and Camp Site

Day 5: Trekking Circuit del Paine: Dickson | Los Perros (4-5 h)
Walk between Dickson lake and Los Perros camp, through dense forests and crossing the river. Just before your day destination camp site (hot showers available), you pass by the Los Perros glaciar base.
Lodging: Los Perros camp site

Day 6: Trekking Circuit del Paine: Los Perros | Grey (6-7 h)
Start the day uphill from Los Perros, until you get to John Garner pass from where you have the most fantastic view over the almost complete Grey Glaciar. You still have a long way to go through the forest that surprisingly lays beside the glacier until we get to the Grey Hut (hot showers available).

Day 7: Trekking Circuit del Paine: Grey | Pehoe (3-4 h)
An easier trekking day from Grey hut to the lake Pehoe shore where a nice hut (hotel style, hot showers available), but not less interesting with different viewpoints to lakes and glaciers along the way.
Lodging: Paine Grande Mountain Lodge

Day 8: Pehoe - El Calafate
Lake Pehoe navigation (boat transfer not included). Van transfer to El Calafate.
Lodging: Hostería Roble Sur

Day 9: Departure
Van transfer to airport in El Calafate.
