Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Aqaba Port. Transferred to Wadi Rum, ‘the magnificent vast, echoing and Godlik, a processional way greater than imagination’. Those were the words used by the English writer and soldier Lawrence of Arabia. A visit to Wadi Rum is a journey to another world, a silent and timeless place where you will be dwarfed to insignificance. In the Empty desert of Wadi Rum you can dwell for days without meeting a soul. The Bedouin people still live as they have been doing since time immemorial. They still wander through the desert looking for the best places to herd their sheep and goats, carrying their black tents with them wherever they go. We will take you on a two-hour jeep safari through the desert and show you the memorabilia of Lawrence of Arabia and inscriptions left behind as silent evidence of the area. Day 2: Petra. This day is entirely dedicated to the rose-red city of Petra. This long-lost capital of the ancient Nabatean Kingdom, central meeting point of the spice routes originating from the Persian Gulf, Western Arabia and the Red Sea, was carved entirely by men out of the sandstone rock. The natural richness of the mountainous area combines in a superb way with the refined culture and massive architecture of the Nabateans. After passing the Siq, the deep and narrow gorge that gives entrance to the hidden city, you will see the world-famous Treasury. Walking and Climbing in Petra hundreds of buildings carved in stone and Eroded through the centuries into fabulous multi coloured walls will be revealed to you. Lunch will be served inside Petra in Basin restaurant. In the evening we will serve you a party dinner at Marriott hotel Petra. Day 3: Departure. After an early breakfast at the Petra Hotel we will transfer you to port for departure. Our representatives will assist you at custom formalities. Notes:
