Day 1: Fly in. Overnight at Hanoi. Transportation by car.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour. Morning visit political area: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Temple of literature, Fine Art Museum (or other). Break for lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon visit the center: Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple, Old quarter, French quarter (walking or cycle tour). West lake area: Quan Thanh Temple, West Lake round trip and some sites round the West Lake (or Ethnology museum). Evening: Water puppet show. Overnight at Hanoi. Transportation by car, cycle. Day 3: Ha Noi - Ha Long. Morning 8:00 a.m. depart from Hanoi, it takes 3,5 hours drive include a break on the way. Afternoon 12:00 p.m. boarding wooden junk, seafood lunch on boat, and cruise for 4 hours on the Bay passing Dinh Huong, Litter Duck, Fighting Cocks Islands and some floating villages. Visit Thien Cung, Dau Go caves on an Island. Return the wharf and drive for 3 hours back to Hanoi. After dinner drive to train station for night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train. Day 4: Lao Cai Market - Sapa. Arrived in Lao Cai early morning, after breakfast in town drive to visit weekly market of colorful dressed mountain hill tribe, continue to Sapa town check in the hotel. Note: weekly markets on Sunday in Bac Ha, Muong Hum; Saturday in Can cau; Tuesday in Coc Ly; Wednesdays in Lung Khau Nhin. Overnight at Sapa. Transportation by car. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 5: Sapa. After breakfast drive 8 km to trek in Lao Chai, Ta Van villages. Passing suspension bridge and turn to the town for lunch. Continue visit Cat Cat, Sin Chai villages on the down hill of the town which facing to Fansipang Vietnam’s highest mountain. Overnight at Sapa. Transportation by car. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 6: Sapa. Drive to Hanoi. Depart for 350 km on the mountain road back to Hanoi. Enjoy the countryside landscape of mountains valleys, palm hills, ethnic villages, rice terraces, orchard gardens, Red River side, on the way and have some stops for hill tribe villages. Day 7: Hanoi - Tam Coc, Bich Dong - Thanh Hoa. Depart from Hanoi, drive 95 km south to Ninh Binh town. Visit Dinh and Le temples in Hoa Lu the ancient Capital. Pass the Town continue to Tam Coc, lunch stop. Afternoon take the boat rowing trip for 2h on Ngo Dong River in Tam Coc, the land called “Dry Ha Long”. Continue a short drive to visit Bich Dong pagoda, the second rank of beautiful cave in Vietnam. Continue drive 55km on highway 1 to Thanh Hoa and check in a beach resort. Overnight at Thanh Hoa. Day 8: Thanh Hoa - Vinh - Phong Nha - Dong Hoi. Early morning leave Thanh Hoa, the homeland of bronze drums and drive to Vinh. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s native land, mother and farther villages. Turn to a part of Ho Chi Minh trails stop in Dong Loc T-junction for admire the spirit of girls scarified for the flow of transportation on the trails during the war. Continue drive through the forest, mountain road, the war vestigates, and country villages to Phong Nha – Ke Bang natural UNESCO World Heritage. Cruise on Son River to discover Phong Nha Cavern, the longest water cave in the world. Late afternoon drive to Dong Hoi. Overnight at Dong Hoi. Transportation by car, boat. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 9: Dong Hoi - DMZ – Hue. Morning, leave the beach town drive southward through Demilitarized Zone during Vietnam war visit Vinh Moc tunnel, the fighting village on the 17 parallel, stop at Hien Luong bridge and visit Quang Tri Citadel, the fierce battle in 1972. Lunch in Dong Ha town. Arrived Hue in the afternoon. Overnight at Hue. Transportation by car. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 10: Hue UNESCO World Heritage. Morning visit Great Enclosure of Royal Citadel, the complex of Noon Gate, Royal Palace, and Temples build in 1802. Afternoon boat trip on the Perfume River go up stream visit Thien Mu Pagoda, continue to Minh Mang King’s Tomb. Overnight at Hue. Transportation by car, boat. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 11: Hue - Hoi An. Morning drive to visit Royal Arena, Thanh Toan covered Bridge and Phu Mong Kim Long village. Lunch break. Drive along the sea coast southward, climb up on the Cloudy Pass, some stops on the way for taking pictures, pass Da Nang City and visit Champa Sculpture Museum. Arrived in Hoi An. Day 12: Hoi An UNESCO World Heritage. Walking in the UNESCO World Heritage of Hoi An ancient street, visit Japanese Bridge, Old house, Chinese Congress Hall, Museum. Free for walk in the street of thousands lanterns reflecting on the water of Hoai River or biking in Cua Dai Beach. Overnight at Hoi An. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 13: Hoi An - My Son UNESCO World Heritage. Morning drive to My Son, UNESCO World Heritage, and the Hinduism Sanctuary of Champa kingdom built from VII to XIII centuries. The complex of brick towers, decorated with statues, sculptures divided in many groups and located in the mysterious forest look up to Cat Tooth Holly Mountain. Continue drive southward through region of coconut beaches and Champa towers, stop at Chien Dang tower, Sa Huynh beach for lunch, Banh It tower. Arrived in Quy Nhon city. Overnight at Quy Nhon. Day 14: Quy Nhon - Nha Trang. Morning drive along beautiful sea coast, turn to visit the Da Dia landmark, a rock formation in Tuy Hoa province. Lunch en rout. Approaching Nha Trang beach city and visit Ponaga Champa tower. Check in the hotel. Overnight at Nha Trang. Transportation by car. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 15: Nha Trang – Phan Thiet. Morning boat trip to Tam, Mun islands for swim and snorkeling then back to the shore. Day 16: Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh city. Morning free for beach relax and fishing village in Phan Thiet. Lunch in Mui Ne. Day 17: Ho Chi Minh city tour. Day 19: Can Tho, floating market - Ho Chi Minh city. Early morning take the boat trip to Cai Rang floating market busy of boats buy and sell fruits, visit some riverside villages, fruit garden and turn to the City. Drive back on the way visit Vinh Trang pagoda in My Tho, Dong Tam snake farm. Back in Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City. Transportation by car, boat. Includes: (B), (L).
