Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Entebbe - Kampala. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a tour guide and transfer to Kampala to Serena Kampala Hotel (Upmarket/ Luxurious accommodation) or Hotel African (Moderate accommodation) or Holiday Express Hotel (Basic/ Budget accommodation). Bed and breakfast. Day 2: Kampala City Tour Kampala city which is the capital city and the economic and social hub of Uganda. Kampala was originally built across seven hills, today the figure is more like two dozen. You will visit the historical sites of Namirembe and Rubaga cathedrals, Kabaka of Lake, Makerere University, the Bahai temple famous for architectural design, Kibuli Mosque, Namugongo martyrs shrine (famous for the execution of Christians in 1886 by Mwanga the then King of Buganda), Uganda Museum, Craft Village, Kampala Taxi Park famous for its organized chaos and Nakasero Market famous for its fresh fruits. Retire for, Dinner and overnight at Serena Kampala Hotel (High class/luxurious accommodation) or Hotel African (Moderate) or Holiday Express Hotel (Budget) Bed and breakfast. Day 3: Kampala - Jinja - Kampala After breakfast, drive to Jinja and visit the source of the Nile River, Bujagali falls. This day will see you rafting White water on the Nile, Bungee jumping over the Nile and all terrain adventure riding (this is optional). At the end of this adventure packed day, a drive back to Kampala city to Serena Kampala Hotel (Upmarket accommodation) or Hotel Africana (Moderate accommodation) or Holiday Express Hotel (Budget) Bed and breakfast. Day 4: Kampala-Lake Mburo National Park Early in the morning after breakfast, depart via Masaka; stop at the equator for photographs. Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park the only park, which encloses a lake. Go for a game drive after lunch in the rolling hills and open grasslands. The lovely landscape is a home to Impala a handsome antelope that gave Kampala the name, Waterbuck, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Crested Crane, and the elusive Shoebill Stork. Dinner and overnight at Luxury Mantana Tented camp, Rwonyo Rest Camp (basic/budget). Includes: (FB). Day 5: Lake Mburo - Lake Bunyonyi After breakfast, begin panoramic trip to Lake Bunyonyi through the Kigezi Highlands commonly referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa". Lunch will be at Mbarara. Experience rural life style, homesteads and local terraced farm fields. It is about 10km from Kabale town to Bunyonyi. The lake is the deepest in Uganda with up to 38 islands. Take a boat trip and enjoy the beautiful scenery and there is a variety of bird species see and enjoy a bilharzias free-swimming experience on the lake and sun bath. You will stay for overnight in Lake Bunyonyi Overland Resort lakeshore positioned cottages. Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi - Bwindi Forest Park. Have lunch and leave Lake Bunyonyi for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through beautiful scenery where the dominant terrain is of terraced farmland and deep valleys arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Community Bandas. Includes: (FB). Day 7: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park Take breakfast early enough and go for briefing by the ranger guide, enter the Gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. You will be required to carry packed lunch and drinking water. The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and increasingly dense vegetation crises-crossed by numerous animal trails. Mammals here include the endangered Mountain Gorillas, rare golden monkey, the Colobus monkey, buffalo and bush-buck. The thrill of observing gorillas is a moving and exciting adventure and it may take 4 to 10 hours. After the long day of adventure you will return to your hotel for, dinner and overnight rest at Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Community Bandas. Includes: (FB). Day 8: Bwindi Forest Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park. Drive out of Bwindi National Park northwards after breakfast to Queen Elizabeth National park via Ishasha sector of the climbing Lions. Here, you may see the climbing lions, the famous Ankole cattle and see herds of buffalo of, elephants and a variety of birds while entering the park. Lunch, Dinner and overnight accommodation at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology. Includes: (FB). Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park Queen Elizabeth National Park offers a real African Safari experience as you will discover during your early morning game drive and the boat ride excursion along the Kazinga channel which offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience at close quarters hippos. You will also see; lions, elephants, buffalos, Uganda Kob, Baboons, and other antelope and prolific bird life of 610 resident species. Dinner and overnight rest at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of ecology. Includes: (FB). Day 10: Queen Elizabeth - Kibale Forest National Park On this day of Uganda wildlife tour, you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and embark on another journey, after breakfast to Kibale Forest National Park and stay at Primate Lodge or Rwenzori Travelers Inn, which offers good accommodation. The entire journey offers an opportunity to enjoy spectacular views of Mount Rwenzori, animals, birds. Also have a cultural tour as you will see the country side of Uganda and the little villages, small towns along the way, you will arrive Kibale in the mid afternoon and retire to your accommodation. Day 11: Kibale Forest National Park Kibale Forest national park will be an Africa adventure packed affair as this rain forest offers a rich diversity of flora and fauna not to mention a great variety and concentration of primates than any forest of the kind in East Africa! Take breakfast and leave on a search for Chimpanzees and other primates, which include the red tailed and grey cheeked Mongabey and other primates. The guide will provide detailed explanations on the primates, the fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing birds and allows you see the primates at close quarters as you enjoy Chimpanzees drumming on tree buttresses with their hoots and screams. You will return from your chimpanzee tracking in the evening, after freshening up, you will have your dinner and recount the day's adventure to each other over a cup of coffee before turning in for night at Primate Lodge or Rwenzori Travelers Inn. Includes: (FB). Day 12: Kibale Forest - Murchison Falls National Park. After breakfast you will drive northwards to Murchison Falls via Masindi. You will have packed lunch and overnight and dinner at Paraa Safari Lodge (High class/luxurious accommodation) or Red Chills Camp (Budget). Includes: (FB). Day 13: Murchison Falls National Park Early in the morning you will wake up to amazing sounds of birds and animals that will make you realize that you are at Murchison Falls. Have breakfast and take a game drive to the Victoria Nile Delta looking for a variety of flora and fauna. Return to the lodge for lunch. Take an afternoon three hour launch trip on the Nile to the base of the electrifying Murchison Falls; you will see hippos, buffalo, crocodile (the largest Africa has left) and birds that can be seen at close range. Dinner and over night at Paraa safari Lodge (up market/luxurious accommodation) or Red Chills (Budget). Includes: (FB). Day 14: Departure- Murchison Falls to Entebbe. You have been enrich during your Uganda tour about Uganda, it’s time to go home, you will take breakfast and depart Murchison Falls for Kampala via the cool Budongo Forest to Entebbe for your flight back home.
