Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel and your gorilla safari commences at 7:00 am, taking you southwest to the "Switzerland" of Africa. You will pass via the green hills of Masaka at Masaka town to Mbarara for lunch and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On this drive you will be exposed to the beautiful scenery of south west Uganda. Dinner and overnight will be at Buhoma community Rest Camp, and Buhoma Lodge or you can reside at the Gorilla forest Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 2: Bwindi gorilla forest. The search for gorillas begins early in the morning. You will be required to carry packed lunch with you, water, and rain jackets, jungle boots. You should wear trousers and possibly carry a camera. Before the search commences, you will have a briefing from the park rangers about the activity and the experience. This activity will give you an opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of the Bwindi Impenetrable forest and also to see the several different monkey species. Gorilla tracking may take between 1-10 hours to encounter these peaceful primates. After the marvelous adventure you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 3: Departure. Your day starts with an early morning breakfast then drive back to Kampala, depending on the time of arrival, do some shopping before retiring to your hotel.
