Day 1: Cairo. Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival a representative will meet and assist you through customs. During the transfer to your hotel, take note of the majestic Nile River. A body of water as amazing as the Red Sea that you are on your way to tomorrow. For those who arrive morning or mid day, don’t forget to look at our Excursions to experience Cairo. Over night in Cairo. Day 2: Pyramids and Saqqara. Good morning. Before we take on the waters of the Red Sea, let us take some time to explore the Pyramids of Giza. Thousands of years old and still standing. Stare at the Sphinx while catching yet another glimpse of the Three Kings in the background. Also on our list of stops, the Stepped Pyramid of Djoser, the first building in all of Egypt. After stocking upon snacks we will hop on our bus and travel to Dahab. Over night bus to Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 3: Dahab. We arrive in golden Dahab mid day. Explore the shops, café’s and restaurants in town. Also catch a glimpse of the waters that will be your playground for the following days to come. Over night in Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 4: Dahab. Today your diving course will begin. Your PADI Instructor will take you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. The theory part of the course will be dealt with today. Over night in Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 5: Dahab. This morning you start in a pool-like condition in the sea at a place called Light House and continue with more theory to ensure you know all about what will follow the next 3 days. Over night in Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 6: Dahab. Today you will dive in the Red Sea. Get ready to Find Nemo and his colorful friends. The Red Sea coral is all yours for the exploration. Over night in Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 7: Dahab. Open water dive two is yours for the taking. Although this will be a snorkeling session. The world renowned Blue Hole will be your playground for today. This submarine pothole has an abundance of coral and reef fish, but is too deep for less experienced divers to dive deep. Over night in Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 8: Dahab. Your third and last dive to explore more of the Red Sea Coral. Over night in Dahab. Includes: (B). Day 9: Dahab. Have a free day in Dahab. Take your time to do last minute shopping before we head back to Cairo. Over night bus back to Cairo. Includes: (B). Day 10: Cairo. We arrive back in Cairo early morning to visit the Egyptian Museum housing age old treasures, – this time treasures from the land and not the sea. Over night in Cairo (B). Day 11: Transfer to Airport. For those who depart late afternoon or evening, don’t forget to look at our Excursions to spend some more time with us in Cairo.
