Accra City Tour:

After the mornings' orientation, we head for the Kwame Nkrumah memorial center. He is the first president of the republic of Ghana who lead the country to gain independence from the British colony in 1957. Also a well known Pan-African who worked with W.E.B. Du Bois and George Padmor. We will move on to the Art center to have a touch of the unique and traditional African arts and handicraft. then to national Museum for history and antiquities. A stop before lunch will be at Makola an open air market right in the middle of the city to have a feel of Ghanaian at buying and selling with tremendous skills. Lunch at a Ghanaian restaurant. We continue to the university of Ghana Lagon a premier university of the country with academic dignity. There will be brief lecture at the school African studies. Our last tour of the day is at W.E.B. Du Bois center. A Pan-Africanist who spent his last three years in Ghana helping Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in building the nation. Back to hotel.

Cape Coast - Heritage Tour:

Depart Accra for Cape Coat in the central region, site of interest includes Cape Coat castle a world heritage monument built in 1665 within which we have the slave dungeons, slave cell, the castle museum and infamous door of no return. There will be a film presentation of the people and their culture. After lunch we proceed to hotel for the night.

Elmina a city with historic heritage:

A visit to the Elmina castle built in 1482 will be memory of a life time. Christopher Columbus spent three days in this castle on his way to discover the new world, Canoe fishing experience on a ceremonial river with the local people, A stop at a fishing community on our way to Kakum park will be the best experience for the trip.

Kakum Natural Park:

A tropical rain forest with 1000 species of plants with medicinal values and a habitation for real wild life. Kakum is known in the world for it famous 40 metre suspended canopy walkway which allows you to have a bird's eye view of the forest, the only one in Africa. Hiking the Kuntan trail brings your imagination of nature and wild life into reality. Lunch at Hans Cottage in a restaurant built on a crocodile pond will also be an adventurous experience. Back to hotel.

Culture and Tradition Kumasi - garden city of West Africa:

Kumasi is the capital city of the Ashanti kingdom enriched with historic, tradition, chieftaincies and cultural monuments.Our visit will bring us to the world known Manhyia Palace the seat of the Ashanti king, Culture center, Komfo Anokye sword site, Prempeh military museum for history of the various Ashanti wars. End the day at Kejetia market the largest open air market in West Africa.

Craft Villages:

Our visit to Ahwaa will bring us to the indigenous woodcarvers highly skilled and naturally talented, carving wooding stools , walking sticks and traditional symbolic dolls. Bonwire is the home of Kente weaving , in this village every family is blessed with the skill of weaving kente in style and colours. You will be treated with kentey weaving session. The skill with which these local craftsmen transform their ideas and emotion into unique designs will definitely intrigue you. Ntonso is the home of adinkra symbols which depicts the great sayings of akans. Morning clothes and tie and dye are traditionally made with adinkra symbols by the locals, you will be allowed to try your hands at making adinkra.

Volta Region Tour:

Our costal drive this morning will take us to the volta region the home of the ewe tribe in Ghana. The first stop will be at the Adome bridge across the votal river and visit some friendly villages with tourism importance along the way. Visist the Akosombo Dam and the Volta Lake, the world's largest man made lake. A visit to wili water falls and ancestral caves of Likpe and other villages crowns the trip with adventurous experience. Having a days trip with the Dodi princess on the volta lake with live band and lunch on board gives you the touch of Ghana.

Northern Ghana:

A visit to the Salaga slave market, Lalambaga mosque, Paga crocodile pond and Mole national park will really give you the feel of Ghana.
