Day 1: Tashkent. Arrive Tashkent, welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time for rest. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Tashkent for 4 hrs: a visit to the Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square with the Opera House, Applied Art Museum, Earthquake Memorial, People's Friendship Palace with Abdul Kasim Madrassah and Alisher Navoi National Park, Independence Square. Overnight in Tashkent. Day 2: Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva. Early transfer to the airport and fly to Urgench. Arrive Urgench and drive to Khiva (30 km), hotel check-in and breakfast. Full day for sightseeing of Khiva. Sightseeing includes visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XXc) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, Tash Hauli Palace. Lunch in so called restaurant Madrassah of the XIX c. After lunch proceed on sightseeing for 2 hrs: Islam Khodja Minaret and Madrassah, Shirgazi khan Madrassah Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Overnight in Khiva. Day 3: Khiva - Bukhara. Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Bukhara via the Kizilkum desert (460 km, 7 hrs). Stop en route near the Amu Darya River and for picnic lunch. Arrive Bukhara, hotel check-in, free time. Overnight in Bukhara. Day 4: Bukhara. Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Bukhara. Start the day with a portion of city tour for 4 hrs, visiting Ark Fortress (I-XX c), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII c), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X c), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI c). After lunch proceed on the walking tour along the old town of Bukhara from Poi-Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII c) through orient bazaars with three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV c), Toki Sarrafon (XVI c), Toki Telpak Furushon (XVI c), Ulugbek Madrassah (XV c), Abdulazizkhan Madrassah (XVII c) to the Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI - XVII c). Overnight in Bukhara. Day 5: Bukhara. Breakfast in the hotel. Today we drive outside Bukhara for sightseeing: Bagautdin Nakhshbandi Complex - a center of Sufism (XIV-XVI c) 14 km outside the town, Sitorai Mokhi Khosa - summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara (XIX-XX c) 4 km outside the town. Afternoon visit to the Chor Bakr Necropolis (XVI-XX c) 10 km outside the town, back to Bukhara and a visit to the Chor Minor (Four Minarets, XIX c). Dinner in Nadir Divan Begi Madrassah with folk show. Overnight in Bukhara. Day 6: Bukhara - Nurata - Base Camp (Kizilkum Desert). Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Nurata (185km, 3hrs). Enjoy guided tour around Nurata town for 2 hrs. en route visiting ruins and fortifications remained after Alexander the Great, saint spring and medieval mosque Namazgokh. Transfer to the base camp (65 km, 1.5 hrs). Came riding instructions and then camel riding. Overnight in yurts (huts). Day 7: Base Camp (Kizilkum Desert) - Samarkand. After breakfast camel riding to the Aydarkul Lake for fishing and swimming with picnic lunch. Transfer to Samarkand (290km, 4hrs). Arrive Samarkand and hotel check-in. Overnight in Samarkand. Day 8: Samarkand. Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Samarkand. Start the day with a sightseeing tour in Samarkand for 4 hrs: Ulugbek Observatory (XV c), excavation of an ancient city and museum of Afrosiyab, Tombstone of Saint Danyar. In the evening visit the Registan Square (XV-XVII c), Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIV - XV c) and Samarkand local bazaar. Overnight in Samarkand. Day 9: Samarkand - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand. Breakfast in the hotel. One day trip to Shakhrisabz (150 km, 2,5 hours). Shakhrisabz is a hometown of Tamerlane and during our 2 hour sightseeing tour we can enjoy the bright example of Central Asian architecture of XIV-XV centuries by visiting: the Ak Saray Palace, Ulugbek's Blue Domed Mosque, Jakhangir's Mausoleum. Drive back to Samarkand (150 km, 2,5 hours). Arrive Samarkand. Overnight in Samarkand. Day 10: Samarkand. Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Samarkand. City tour for 4 hours to the Gur-Emir Mausoleum - Grave of Timur (XV c), Rukhabad Mausoleum (XIV c), Shakhi Zinda Necropolis (XIV - XV c). Visit the "Samarkand-Bukhara Silk Carpets" factory for 2 hours where you can observe the whole process of weaving silk carpets based on hand made technology. Overnight in Samarkand. Day 11: Samarkand - Tashkent. Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Tashkent (320 km, 5 hours). Arrive Tashkent and hotel check-in. Afternoon visit to Tashkent Metro and Chorsu oriental bazaar. Overnight in Tashkent. Day 12: Depart Tashkent. Transfer to the Tashkent International Airport and depart Tashkent. End of the tour. Notes: Prices:
