Day 1: Beijing.
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the four-star Holiday Inn Downtown Hotel.
Day 2: Beijing.
Travel to the Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500 km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. After a hike along a portion of the Wall, you visit the Ming Tombs, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds. Includes: (B, L).
Day 3: Beijing.
Morning tour starts with the Gugong, also called the Forbidden City, in scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987.Built between 1406-1420, it is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties. Walk leisure around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.
After lunch you will visit the biggest and most important imperial Temple of China, Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. Then you drive through the city for an overview of Beijing until you arrive for leisure tour to the Summer Palace which was built 800 years ago. It is the second largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with 294 hectares including the beautiful and serene Kunming Lake. Includes: (B, L).
Day 4: Beijing - Xian.
Fly to Xian in the morning. You are greeted by your guide and transferred to the four-star Aurum International Hotel.. Continue to visit the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Then visit Ancient City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Includes: (B, L).
Day 5: Xian.
A full day tour to visit Terracotta Warriors. It is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively. Includes: (B, L).
Day 6: Xian - Shanghai.
This morning fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the four-star Shanghai Hotel. Shanghai visit starts with a tour of the premier attractions of the city where we can immerse ourselves in the culture and sophistication of this cosmopolitan. You can stroll along the lovely paths and pavilions of Yu Garden in Shanghai Old City and at the same time experience Shanghai recently gained modernity. This afternoon visit Shanghai Museum, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming and Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. Enjoy your shopping in Nanjing Road, known as the No. 1 Shopping Paradise in China. Walk along the riverfront Bund and admire the night lights on both sides of the harbor. Includes: (B, L).
Day 7: Shanghai.
Enjoy free leisure time. Includes: (B).
Day 8: Shanghai - Kunming.
Fly to Kunming in the morning, the Spring City of China. Located on the east edge of the Tibet Plateau, Kunming is accompanied by warm weather year round. Check into the four-star New Era Hotel. In the afternoon, you will climb the Western Hill where you will find both Taoist and Buddhism temples on the top. A very beautiful lake view of the Dianchi Lake comes into sight while you are on the top of the Dragon Gate. On the way down, you will visit the Huating Temple, containing 500 sculptures of the disciples of the Buddha. Includes: (B, L).
Day 9: Kunming.
A full day excursion takes you to the Stone Forest, one of the natural wonders of the area, and a typical Karstic Landscape. On the way, you will enjoy a visit to a typical Chinese village and meet the local people. Includes: (B, L).
Day 10: Kunming - Dali.
You will take an early flight to Dali, an important stop on the Yunnan-Tibetan Highway. In the afternoon, tour the Erhai Lake and enjoy the Folk Songs and Dances of the Bai ethnic minority while the famous Three Course Tea presented. You will find the crystal blue lake and the green mountain range nearby look alike a Chinese painting. Then take a look of the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas, built 1,300 years ago. You can have a leisurely stroll in Old Town Dali at evening. Overnight at the four-star Asia Star Hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 11: Dali - Lijiang.
Today, you will drive to Lijiang. Lijiang, bordering Tibet, is a small town with a spectacular mountain backdrop. After lunch, you will visit the Black Dragon Pool, and the Dongba Culture Exhibition Museum, which represents the Dongba Pictographic Characters and Naxi Minorities mysterious Culture, some of which still use the matriarchal social system up till today. Late afternoon, tour the ancient Town of Dayan, a World Heritage Site in China recognized by the United Nations in 1999. Check into the four-star Grand Hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 12: Lijiang.
A whole day tour starts with a visit to Yufeng Si, a traditional Lamasery famous for its 1000-year-old Camellia Tree. Take cable car ascending Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to visit Yak grassland, and tour the Baisha Mural in Baisha Naxi minority village. Includes: (B, L).
Day 13: Lijiang - Zhongdian.
Full day tour takes you to northwest of Lijiang Old Town to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, which is believed to be the deepest gorge in the world. Continue driving to Zhongdian and check into the four-star Holy Palace Hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 14: Zhongdian - Kunming.
Visit Samzoling Monastery, Pudacuo Scenic Area including Bita Lake, Shudu Lake and Xiagei Tibetan Village. Fly back to Kunming in the late afternoon and check into the hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 15: Kunming - Guiyang - Anshun.
Morning visit the Grand View Park and the local flower bird market. In the afternoon fly to Guiyang. Upon arrival, drive to Anshun, the small town near Guiyang. Check into the local best Grand Waterfall Hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 16: Anshun - Guiyang.
Morning visit Huangguoshu Waterfall, which ranks the first in Asia, 81 meters wide and 74 meters high. In the afternoon, you will visit the Dragon Palace Caves which is an underground water cave and needs a boat inside for 30 minutes. Then visit Tianlong Old-Han Chinese village. Family visit will be arranged to see its stone architecture. You will have a chance to appreciate its traditional opera-Ground Opera or Dixi. The performers will put wooden mask on their forehead. Drive back to Guiyang and check into the four-star Ramada Plaza Hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 17: Guiyang.
Today you will visit Jiaxiou Pavilion---the symbol building of Guiyang and Hongfu Buddhist Monastery located on the top of Qianlin Mountain. After lunch, you will drive to Qingyan Ancient Town for a visit. Qingyan is a small township in the outskirt of Guiyang. It was built in the Ming Dynasty, the town retains its original design of outer and inner cities, each with magnificent city walls, watch towers and battlements, well-preserved stone-slab lanes and archways. Day 18: Guiyang - Guangzhou - Hong Kong.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will fly to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, visit the Chan Family Temple. In the afternoon, board express train to Hong Kong. Upon arrive in Hong Kong, meet and transfer to the four-star Park Hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 19: Hong Kong. Free day. Includes: (B).
Day 20: Hong Kong. After breakfast transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Includes: (B).
