Qadisha Valley and the Four Convents: called the Saints’ Valley where hermits live. A religious adventure on foot, 550 m under road level to admire the Hermitage, Convents and Grottoes. Qadisha Valley is a natural gorge that is protected by mountains, rich in waterfalls, monasteries dating from the XII to the XIII centuries, built into the rock and often decorated with splendid frescoes. The valley is marked by steep paths, and dotted with grottoes and hermitages.
