You've wanted to visit the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and what better way to do it than on Amtrak's Southwest Chief? On this independent tour, start with a short stay in Chicago before boarding the train and heading south to Arizona and the Grand Canyon. En route, stop in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where historic cultures thrive. Arrive at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and experience life as it was in the Wild West. Board the Grand Canyon Railway for an unforgettable excursion to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Sedona is your final destination, where you will be treated to an all-day tour of this picturesque city surrounded by red-rock monoliths.

Along the way, enjoy the changing landscape and listen to commentary from a National Park Ranger on board. Enjoy all of your meals in the train’s dining car. Fresh fruit, coffee and pastries are served. After the two-hour train ride, arrive at the canyon.
