Join us in August 2006 for the Uganda Challenge covering the cultural heritage, mountain hike walk and a glance at Uganda¡¦s general Wildlife. Below is the trip Itinerary. The trip will take us through 3 major national parks in Uganda and visiting one Orphanage project to spend a day helping the needy. Book Now.

Your Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrive at Entebbe International airport. Transfer to Kampala and check in Speke Hotel. This is a 45 minutes drive from Entebbe. Speke Hotel is in the middle of Kampala overlooking the Sheraton Gardens.

Day 2:
After breakfast in the morning take a city sight seeing to Rubaga Catheredral, Namirembe, and Makerere Hills. Briefly tour the Uganda Museum and the Kasubi Cultural tombs (Uganda¡¦s major historical site) and overnight Hotel.
After Lunch in the afternoon depart to destination Kibale National Park, This will take you about 5 hour drive from Kampala You will Escape the city in the afternoon and extend to western Uganda through lots of tea plantations and later to Fort portal Town. Check in Travellers Hotel, Dinner in the evening and overnight

Day 3:
Depart from your Hotel to Kibale National park. This park is East African world of Chimpanzee. Move to park headquarters and start your walk. The park is organized into trails that will help you walk well in a very fresh environment. The tour guides will show you the primates that exist in the forest. Spend the day in the park-Packed lunch will be provided.
Return and take a coach to Kasese town in the evening. This will is 2 hours journey. Check in Hotel Margarita Overlooking Rwenzori Mountains

Day 4:
Depart to the footsteps of Rwenzori Mountains to begin a day¡¦s walk to lowland areas of the mountain. A trip to the Rwenzoris is a rewarding experience and enjoyable. We shall arrive at Nyakalegija spot in the morning and meet Rwenzori Mountaineering service crew with Guides and porters. Walking will begin at 5400 ft (1,646 m) walking past mud and wattle Bakonzo (Short peoples) homes and gradually moving upwards through elephant grass and garden plots. It will take approximately 5 hrs for the fast walkers to arrive at Nyamitaba hut, the mountain trek first official stop (9400 ft or 2846 M above). The guides will be flexible. Enroute, parked lunch, bottled water, guides and porters. Return to park headquarters by 5.30 am and take a coach to Hotel Margarita. Dinner and overnight

Day 5:
After an early morning Breakfast return to the Rwenzoris.Today we take a walk through the Bukonzo Community. This will take 3-4 hours. Enroute is Parked Lunch, Guides. Return to Hotel Margarita, dinner and overnight.

Day 6:
Wake up early morning, and the African experience rocks again. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and start a great game drive around the park. You will have a wildlife guide with you to tell you all about animals. This is a chance to see thousands of wildlife e.g., Monkeys, hyenas, lions, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, and thousands of beautiful birds. You will have a chance to view up to 604 different species of birds-the highest number of bird species to be found within any nature reserve in Africa.
After Lunch, at 3.00 pm, head to shores of Lake Edward to take one of the most fascinating boat cruise in the park. This Launch trip starts on Lake Edward and moves along Kazinga water channel. Other tourists from other countries will join you. A guide will be on the trip to answer every question. Lots of water animals, e.g. Crocodiles, Hippos, beautiful water birds, water buffalos, 65 year old Elephants, drinking water by the shores.
In the evening return to Hotel Margarita in Kasese, dinner and overnight.

Day 7:
Transfer to Kampala, arriving late afternoon. Various stops will be done including a stop at the Equator where you will stand in the two hemispheres of the planet simultaneously. Check in your Speke Hotel. In the evening individual members can choose to visit Kampala¡¦s hot night spots, like Rock garden, The Venue, Nandos, Stakeout, or a visit at Casino

Day 8:
After Breakfast, Visit Community project. Spend the whole day working at the rural community project. Return to Kampala.
In the evening take a Trip Gala Dinner at Faze 2 Restaurant-Kampala, overnight

Day 9:
Day Free for last minute shopping prior to leaving for the overnight flight to Europe.
