Day 1: Tana. Upon arrival into the capital city of Madagascar known as Tana, clear customs and meet our representative for transfer to Anjary hotel (mid range) or at Louvre hotel (top) for overnight.
Day 2: Tana - Diego. Early transfer to the airport for flight to Diego Suarez which is a unique port on the northern tip of the island. Depart for short visit at surrounding of Ramena and the beautiful view the French mountain. Enjoy a late afternoon walk, dinner and overnight at the hotel Jardin Exotique (mid range) or Grand hotel (top).
Day 3: Diego - Montagne D’Ambre. Early drive to Montagne D’Ambre. The national park of the amber Mountain spreads on 23010 hectares of which 18200 hectares for the National Park and 4810 hecatres for the Reserve Special Forest of Amber. It is a volcanic massif covered of forest spreading on 850 to 1475 meters. Six lakes and several streams and rivers furrow the park. Montagne d’Ambre is where you can find the Amber mountain rock thrush endemic in the area the Amber Mountain is a high place of endemicity with 77 species of birds, seven species of lemurs and 24 species of amphibian. Spend the rest of the night at the Monastere lodge (mid range) or Nature lodge (top).
Day 4: Montagne D’Ambre - Ankarana. In the morning, leave Montagne d’Ambre and drive to Ankarana Reserve. The park of Ankarana spreads over 18225 hectares. Ankarana is the western extension of a chalky massif of the medium Jurassic that emerges from a basaltic plain located above 50 meters over the sea level. The plateau, that is a greatly eroded karst formation in surface, is constituted by a lapiaz of Tsingy. Overnight at the hotel Relais d’Ankarana (high mid range) or at Chez Aurélien.
Day 5: Ankarana - Ambanja. Morning visit to the park till noon, Ankarana is home to many species of lemurs such as the crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs and different species of birds. Also, it is mostly known for its limestone pinnacles or the Tsingy. The biological inventories of Ankarana reported 50 herpetofauna species with 40 reptiles and 10 amphibians, also reported 96 species of birds, 50 species of mollusks and a huge number of snails of the Tsingy. 14 species of bats, either the half of the bats of Madagascar lives in the underground cave of Ankarana. After lunch leave Ankarana and drive to Ambanja. Ambanja is on the shore of the ocean which is the open gate to go to Nosy Be. Overnight at hotel Le Méridien (mid range) or at hotel Baobab (top).
Day 6: Ambanja - Nosy Be. In the morning, depart in a fast motor boat to go to Nosy Be, the nation’s capital of tourism attraction. Nosy Be is the high place of tourism in Madagascar. This island moored in the North-West of the Great Island of the coast of the bay of Ampasindava, remains the most visited place in the country. This heaven of peace received many qualifications from visitors, to indicate its beauty but it seems that the term "paradise on earth" is best adapted to qualify the extremely rare beauty of this island, which means not easily seen from other part of the planet. The other terms, like the pearl of the Indian Ocean, does not completely manage to qualify it because it does not evoke the width of its splendor. Stay at hotel Domaine de Mangabe (high mid range) or Amarina (top).
Day 7: Nosy Be - Nosy Komba - Nosy Tanikely. Take a boat and depart to Nosy Komba which is only a dozen km from Nosy Be which is accessible by boat. In Nosy Komba, tourists are likely to enjoy close contact with the domesticated black and brown lemurs that gently jump onto your shoulders expecting to eat bananas. Nosy Tanikely constitutes an underwater reserve which offers a very suitable diving site. With just a mask and a tuba, one can start appreciating the parade of the thousands of species of fish starting from only some meter from the beach and see grouper, moon fish, swordfish, barracuda, parrots, lines, clown fishes, moray, turtles. These species grind around splendid corals, like a patrol. The marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely presents a broad sandy beach for snorkeling activities that most people love the clear water you can see an amazing variety of marine life, starfish, anemones, very colored shape of fish, and lobsters. Overnight at hotel Domaine de Mangabe (high mid range) or Amarina (top).
Day 8: Nosy Be. This day you are free, so you can choose just to relax on the beach or do other activities by yourself. Overnight at hotel Domaine de Mangabe (high mid range) or Amarina (top).
Day 9: Nosy Be - Tana. After lunch, take a flight to get to Tana and overnight at Anjary hotel (mid range) Or at hotel Colbert (top).
