Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, 31st of December: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Taznakht – Foum Zquid – Erg Chigaga. Pick up from Marrakech at 7:30 a.m. in the morning and travel towards the Atlas Mountains. Travel via the Tichka Pass (2260 m) the highest road pass in Morocco. The panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and magnificent landscapes, scenery peppered by small Berber villages typical of the region.

Then pass onto Taznachkt a well know center for handmade Berber carpets. Then follow the route onto Forum Zquid, where you get onto an off road and travel about 60 km via a desert scenery, an old rally Paris - Dakar road. Pass the dried salt lakebed of Lake Iriqi. Then arrive to the sand dunes of Erg Chigaga that spread over 40 km. Here we saddle our camels and trek around the region. Overnight in Nomad tent, dinner with entertainment. There settled for an unforgettable night - A New Year Party/Sylvester in the desert

Day 2, 2nd of January: Erg Chigaga – Tamengroute – Zagora – Draa Valley - Ouarzazate. After breakfast and beautiful sunrise in the Sahara Desert we travel towards M'hamid, about 60 km off road. In M'hamid meet up with the Draa Valley - a spectacular oasis lined by many palm groves. Stop in Tamengroute where is the famous Koran library and an underground Kasbah where people still live today. Our travel will continue along the Draa Valley that is lined by many palm groves and Sub Saharan Berber villages. We arrive to Ouarzazate. Overnight in Ouarzazate, dinner and breakfast.
