Day 1: Salta - San Lorenzo. Upon arrival to Salta a transfer awaits to bring you to your hotel in San Lorenzo, a small summer village just 15 kilometers from Salta. Enjoy your hike on the four track excursion, crossing deep gorges in the middle of exuberant vegetation that astonishes with its beauty. The road also crosses with many arroyos, and finishes with an impressive panoramic view from which you can gaze upon Lerme Valley. Day 2: San Lorenzo - train-ride through the clouds. Full-day excursion with a train ride through the clouds on your way back from Komby, a visit to the archeological ruins of Tastil. This does not include the transfer to the railway station. Optional: if the train is not functioning, you may travel the same trajectory in vehicle. Lodging in San Lorenzo. Day 3: San Lorenzo - horseback riding. Full-day horseback ride on the Lesser farm. A relaxing, enjoyable ride through the hills, passing landscapes filled with forests and excellent panoramic views. Lodging in San Lorenzo. Day 4: San Lorenzo - rafting in the Dique Cabra Corral. Full-day excursion to the Cabra corral to take part in rafting and trekking. First we descend in inflatable boats crossing the rapids of the river Juramento. Juramento canyon is an amazing natural landscape where one can appreciate the footprints of ancient dinosaurs. The trek consists of a stroll through the Cerro Peñas Blancas (White Pains Hills) until arriving at an indigenous observatory. Lodging in San Lorenzo. Day 5: San Lorenzo - Salta.
