Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Salta. Reception and transfer to hotel. City tour of Salta and its surroundings. Lodging in Salta. Day 2: Salta - Colomé. Outing to the valley of Calchaquíes, from there we'll ascend through Bishop's Uphill (Cuesta del Obispo) until the windmill rock (a well-known geographical landmark) at an altitude of 3620 meters. From there on to a typical village, Cachi. Continuing on the highway 40 until Molinos, we finish the day in Colomé, where we'll lodge for the evening. Day 3: Colomé - Cafayate. Visit the vineyard of Colomé at an altitude of 2400 meters and producers of varied red wines: Cabernet-Malbec is one, a fruity red. Transfer to Cafayate through the Gorge of the Arrows (Quebrada de las Flechas). Accommodation. Day 4: Cafayate. Another visit to others vineyard (with an optional cheese buffet), El Porvenir Vineyard, La Casa de la Bodega, Mounier Vineyard, El Esteco Vineyard (in case to be lodge in the hotel). Day 5: Cafayate - Salta. Return to Salta via the Gorge of Cafayate. In the "Landmark of the Goats" (La Posta de las Cabras) (1000 meters above sea level), a snack of cheese and Malbec wine. Then arrival in salta with a tour through the city and its surroundings before you're transferred to the airport. Notes: 2011 Prices:
