Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Amman for overnight. Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, meet and assist. Transfer to Amman hotel for overnight. Day 2: Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Um Qais - Amman. After breakfast drive to Jerash, the Roman city. Walk in the Oval Plaza surrounded by colonnades, visit the Roman theatre and Byzantine churches with mosaic-covered floors. Enjoy a stroll along Jerash' main road the Cardo and pass by the Nymphaeum, on to Ajloun Castle, then drive to Um Qais, built mainly out of black basalt. Here you can enjoy the impressive, view over Lake Tiberias and the Golan Height; on to Ajloun Castle, back to Amman hotel and overnight. Day 3: Amman - Desert Castles - Amman. After breakfast, full day tour Desert Castles, back to Amman hotel and overnight Eastern Desert. The Romans were not deterred by the desert climate and built a chain of fortresses along the frontiers of their new Arabic province. Most of the castles you can visit nowadays were built by the caliphs during the Umayyad period. Some are decorated with fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings and illustrations. They stand as silent and impressive evidence of Jordan's Rich history. Today you shall see three of the best-preserved desert castles. Day 4: Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Wadi Mujib - Kerak - Petra. After breakfast drive to in Madaba and visit St. George church, famous for its unique mosaic map on the church floor. On to St. John church at Mount Nebo where Moses looked over the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. If the sky is clear Jerusalem, Jericho and Bethlehem will meet your eye at the other side of the Dead Sea. Continue to Wadi Mujib, then Kerak, The huge castle where Saladin and Richard Lion heart fought during the crusades. Arrive at Petra; check in at hotel for overnight. Day 5: Petra - Visit of Petra - Wadi Rum. In the morning a local guide will escort you into Petra, and show you the highlights of the Nabatean city. You will enter the city through the Siq, the narrow gorge and be rewarded with the most astonishing and dramatic monument in Jordan: the Treasury. You will also visit the theatre, the tombs and facades, and the colonnaded street. Continue to Wadi Rum for dinner and overnight at Jabal Rum Camp. Day 6: Wadi Rum - Amman. Visit of Wadi Rum Jeep 4x4 2 hours then, back to Amman and full day sightseeing of Amman including citadel, amphitheatre, national museum, down town and modern part of Amman west. Back to Amman hotel for overnight. Day 7: Amman - Damascus. Day 8: Damascus. Full day visit of Damascus: the National Museum, the Omayyad Mosque, the Azem palace, the Tomb of Saladin, the Straight Street, the Window of St. Oaul And stroll in souk Hamidie, Lunch in old Damascus restaurant, in the evening panoramic view over Damascus from Mount Qassioun, dinner in Ahlaa Taleh restaurant, back to hotel and overnight. Day 9: Damascus - Ma'aloula - Hama - Aleppo. Breakfast in hotel. Check out and departure to visit Ma'aloula and Hama city. Visit the Norias (waterwheel). Lunch at (Al Boustan) restaurant, then continuation to Aleppo city. Check in at hotel. Dinner at (Maison Sissi). Back to hotel for overnight. Day 10: Aleppo - Damascus. Breakfast in hotel. Visit the Saint Simeon Castle, Aleppo Castle, Omayyad Mosque, and famous Souk. Check out. Back to Damascus city. Dinner and overnight. Day 11: Damascus. Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the Syrian and Jordanian border. Meet and assist transfer to Amman Hotel for overnight. Day 12: Amman - Departure. After breakfast transfer to Queen Alia Airport for departure.
