Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Meet and assist at Beirut Airport and transfer to hotel for overnight. Day 2: Full day Beirut, Beiteddine and Deir el Kamar. Beirut, capital of Lebanon and heart of the middle east, rises again from the ashes, we visit the national museum, the city centre with its huge construction sites and renovation works in addition to all the archeological finds. A visit that will confirm the Lebanese will to make their capital again the economic, touristic cultural and economic, touristy, cultural and commercial centre of the middle east, overnight at the hotel. Day 3: Baal beck - Zahle - Anjar - Ksara. Visit the bekaa valley, baalbeck (the big stone, temples of Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus). Visit zahle. Day 4: Byblos - Jeita. Our visit starts with the beautiful Phoenician city considered the longest continually inhabited city in the world with its castle, souks, cathedral (dating back to the crusaders era), port, restaurants, sandy beaches, café's, and then the famous Jeita grottos with their fabulous sceneries. Day 5: Tripoli. Cedars of Lebanon (2000 m altitude), mentioned several times in the bible, some of them are more than 2000 years old, in Bacharach, we visit the Gebran museum, the International poet of Lebanese origin, in the afternoon panoramic visit of Tripoli. Day 6: Full day Sidon, Tyre and Echmoun. Day 7: Time to be advised, pick up from hotel and transfer to Syrian borders masnaa. Transfer to Damascus. Day 8: Damascus - Ma'aloula - Krak des chevaliers - Aleppo. Departure to visit convents in ma'aloula, proceed to krak des chevaliers, visit the castle. Arrive Aleppo for overnight. Day 9: Aleppo - St. Simeon - Aleppo. In the morning proceed on the excursion to St. Simeon. Visit the basilica, drive back to Aleppo visit the citadel, khan el chouneh. The Umayyad mosque, the old covered bazaar, jdeideh quartier. Day 10: Aleppo - Ebla - Serjilla - Apamea - Hama. Departure to visit the site of Elba and Serjilla, proceed to Apamea. Visit the great colonnaded street, continue to Hama, visit the ancient norias. Day 11: Hama - Homs - Palmyra. Departure to home. Visit the churches and mosque, departure to Palmyra, ascend to al–ma'ani castle to attend the panoramic view of the ruins. Day 12; Palmyra - Damascus. Sightseeing in Palmyra, visit the colonnade, the theater, the tombs, temple of bel, afternoon departure to Damascus. Day 13: Damascus. Full day city tour in Damascus, starting with the national museum takiyeh sulaimanyieh complex (handcraft bazaar). Drive to the old city. Visit the Umayyad mosque, Saladin mausoleum, the Azem palace. Promenade through via recta. Visit St. Paul's church and St. Ananias' chapel. Shopping at the old covered bazaars. Day 14: Damascus - Bosra - Jerash - Amman. Departure to Hosra.visit the great roman amphitheater and ruins. Proceed to visit Jerash.one of the most preserved graeco-roman cities in the Middle East transfer to Amman for overnight stay. Notes:
