From May 21-27, our days will be filled with the memorable canvases and frescoes of Venetian artists, entering the visions themselves as we float along a quiet canal, wander a colorful island, or cross a lively campo. On Venice's islands and on Italy's mainland, we'll explore and examine the serenely symmetrical 16th century architecture of Andrea Palladio, tour renowned museums and view an intimate palazzo. We'll delight in superb classical concerts in memorable venues, and sample highlights of local cuisine.

The tour is scheduled to take full advantage of concerts presented by the Centre de Musique Romantique Francaise, headquartered in the magnificent Palazzetto Bru Zane. The concerts in Venice are presented at various venues of great historical importance, enabling festivalgoers to appreciate the interiors and the acoustics of some of the most precious and evocative buildings in this splendid city.
