Despite the barren landscapes of this area of Peru, the coast of the Paracas Peninsula and the nearby Ballestas Islands are havens for marine life. The Ballestas Islands are alive with noisy colonies of sea lions and huge numbers of birds that are sustained by the food-rich waters of this stretch of the Pacific.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Departure Cusco to Nazca (8:00 a.m.). It takes 15 hours. Spend 1 night in Nazca in a hostel.

Day 2: At 8:00 a.m. going on the sightseeing flight, which takes approximately 40 minutes, here you can see the figures of a spider, Monkey, dog, colibrí y cóndor. Going to Pisco (13:30 p.m.). Spend the night in Pisco.

Day 3: At 08:00 a.m. going to Islas Ballestas. To visit fauna marina colony with birds like: guanay, piquero zarcillo, pinguinos peruanos, lobos marinos, especies marinas, peces como lenguado, toyo blanco, bonito and also, tramboyo, raya, sardina anchoveta, etc. In the afternoon return to Cusco, leaves approximately at 18:00 p.m. (15 hours drive).
