Spend a week with us exploring the stunning Bay of Kotor. Located only one hour from the historic town of Dubrovnik on the Dalmatian Coast, the spectacular coastal mountains around Europe’s southernmost fjord offer superb hiking on quiet trails. The area has a unique culture mix of Venetian, Slavic and Serbian influences, and the hiking trails are untouched by mass tourism. Taking in parts of the Coastal Transversal as well as local hikes this is a tour for moderately experienced hikers who wish to sample the authentic Montenegro.
Hiking is on a mixture of rocky, stony and grass trails, sometimes with steep drops to one side. There are a couple of longer days of hiking, however a good mix of hiking and time spent exploring the ancient medieval towns of the area ensure that you will get the full flavour of this fascinating area. The coastal mountains have their own micro climate and weather conditions can vary. We will advise you on what to expect prior to your trip.
