There are many approaches to Mera, none are easy and some require the crossing of high and difficult passes, making a trek to the peak a real mountaineering adventure with spectacular and finest viewpoints of Nepal.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. (Altitude: 1350 m). Arriving Kathmandu, where you will be welcomed by our representative in traditional manner and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy the sites of Thamel, where you can find all kinds of good restaurants. The shops are never ending. You might be tired going around confusing street, but you want shop wondering around. You find all types of Nepal's eastern handicrafts, Tibetan carpets, and exquisite jewelers. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu. We give you a daytime to explore Kathmandu, the medieval capital while on the other side we prepare for trekking permits. You can explore the Kathmandu valley with our city guide. Kathmandu valley is rich in art, culture and lifestyle. You can visit the different UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu and Patan. The famous destinations in Kathmandu are Durbar Square, Swayambunath, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu. You can visit the UNESCO world heritage sites of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is known for the fabulous art, culture, and lifestyle. The famous destinations of Bhaktapur are Nyatapola Temple, Pottery Square, Surya Binayak Temple, Changu Narayan, Nagarkot. You also can visit the different museums in Bhaktapur, namely National Art Gallery, the wood carving museum, and the Bronze and Brass museum. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Kathmandu – Lukla – Puiyan. Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 m) in the morning. This flight will be your one of the adventurous flight ever you have made. After about 45 minutes, you will be in airstrip of Lukla. After a cup of tea, start trek to Puiyan. We descend through the valley to the south and will be in Surkhe where we take lunch and head towards to Puiyan (2800 m). Overnight.

Day 5: Puiyan – Pangum. (Altitude: 2800 m). From Puiyan, the trial continue to descend through the valley and forest high above Dudh Khosi and crossing may ridges, we will be in valley of Khari Khola. Passing over two major ridges, Chutok La (2945 m) and Khari La (3080 m), you will be in Pangum. Overnight.

Day 6: Pangum – Najing Dingma. (Altitude: 2600). In the morning, the trek begins to the Pangum La (3175 m) behind the village and head toward to Hinku Valley. The trial descends through the scattered settlements and undisturbed forests of upper temperature zone. The climb is less steep and pass through the deep forest before reaching Najing Dingma. Overnight.

Day 7: Najing Dingma – Chalem Kharka. (Altitude: 3600 m). From Nijing Dingma, the trial is rough with rocks and shrubs. The trial drops steeply on either side and will reach to Panch Pokhari (5 lakes) which is pilgrimage place for both Buddhist and Hindus. A short descent brings into the valley of Chalem Kharka. Overnight.

Day 8: Chalem Kharka – Khote. (Altitude: 3600 m). The trial begins with slopes and turns and dwarf juniper shrub gradually turns to trees and descends to the junction of two mountain torrents. Passing through the forest and rejoin the main river and crossing it, you will be in Khote. Overnight.

Day 9: Khote – Thangnak. (Altitude: 4140 m). Passing the forest and to a valley, a small gompa with tiny Buddha Statues in the rock wall. Moving ahead the valley to the east, you can see the Mera glacier and you will be Thangnak. Overnight.

Day 10: Thangnak – Khahare. (Altitude: 4900 m). The trial decent along the Dig glacier which is easy and relaxed trek. You can have excellent view of peak 35 which is yet to be climbed. After a steep trial, you will be in Khahare. Overnight.

Days 11-12: Khahare. Two days in Khahare is the acclimatization day, preparation, and checking for climbing gears. Overnight.

Day 13: Khahare – High base camp. Trek to the High base camp from Khahare. Overnight.

Day 14: Climbing period of Mera peak – Khahare. This is the climbing period to climb of Mera peak and back to Khahare. Overnight.

Day 15: Khahare – Kothe. Trek back from Khahare to Kothe. Overnight.

Day 16: Kothe – Chetarbu Kharka. Trek back from Kothe to Chetarbu Kharka. Overnight.

Day 17: Chetarbu Kharka – Lukla. Trek back from Chetarbu Kharka to Lukla. Overnight.

Day 18: Lukla – Kathmandu. Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 19: Kathmandu. Free stay at Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day 20: Departure. Transfer to airport for departure.
