Your driver will pick you up in the early morning, departing from Paris for Mont Saint Michel. During the nearly 4-hour trip, you will enjoy the picturesque landscape of the Normandy region, one of the most lovely areas in France. On your way to the Mont you will stop in Caen for lunch. This is a French-Norman city, the former stomping ground of William the Conqueror. You will see the remains of his castle from the Middle Ages. Enjoy lunch on Vaugueux Street, far from the tourist masses. Unique, picturesque and full of typical Norman architecture, Vaugueux Street is a popular dining destination for locals. Your guide will advise you to dine at "La Fringale," a small and charming restaurant that serves authentic French-Norman food. You will then ride the last 2 hours to the Mont and arrive in early afternoon. You will have free time to explore, and your guide will explain the history of Mont Saint Michel.
