Learn how tea is grown in Assam’s famous tea estates, spot the fabled unicorn rhinos on elephant-back and other stunning wildlife in Kaziranga National Park, and reflect on this great land at Akshardham Temple, the world’s largest Hindu complex. Day 1: Fly from London to Delhi (or make own way to Delhi). Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Relaxation – optional half day tour of Delhi including the largest Hindu temple in the world. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3: Fly to Guwahati, jeep to Eco-Camp at Nameri. Overnight in Eco-Camp.

Day 4: Game walk in Nameri National Reserve, river rafting. Drive to Dirang. Overnight in Dirang.

Day 5: Visit Old Dirang, walk through Sangti Valley. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 6: Drive through Sela Pass (14000 feet), noodle and chai stop, then onwards to Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 7: Tawang Monestary, the world`s second largest Buddhist monastery. High altitude lake, Gompa and War Memorial.

Day 8: Drive through Sela Pass to Bomdila. Overnight in Bomdila.

Day 9: Drive to Sessa Orchid Sanctuary, forest walk, drive to Itanagar. Overnight in Itanagar.

Day 10: Drive to Majuli, the World's largest river island. Overnight in Majuli.

Day 11: Explore Majuli. Overnight in Majuli.

Day 12: Drive to Kaziranga, afternoon jeep safari, overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 13: Elephant Safari in Central Sector, optional jeep safari, tea estate and village visit. Overnight in Kaziranga.
