Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival. Arrival in Porec, meeting with guide and presentation of program. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Day 2: Kayaking (13 km). After breakfast short drive to Vrsar where we will start with our sea kayak adventure along the protected area of Lim fjord. You will enjoy paddling along the bay, with its steep banks, passing beside the cultivation of mollusks and fish to the end of Lim bay. During paddling we will make stop on the wild beach for swimming and snorkeling. Hike to the Romuald´s cave, this 105-meter long cave consists of several impressive halls that have preserved evidence of permanent existence of life since prehistoric times. The entrance to the cave is 47 centimeters high, and the main hall is five to six meters high. Romualdo's Cave is a speleological phenomenon because the cave ornaments are located on the left side only, while the right side is empty.Return in hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Mountain biking (43 km). After breakfast transfer to Savudrija where we will start biking (on macadam) on the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line which deeply penetrates into the Istrian peninsula and from Porec to Trieste connects 33 Istrian cities, which today are located on the territory of even three states. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, once it was named as the railway of the wine. After a pleasant and exciting ride from charming medieval town of Grožnjan to Vižinada we will pass through many tunnels, over old bridges and stop on many fascinating view point. Dinner and overnight in hotel. - Asphalt: 2 km - Macadam: 41 km. Day 4: Hiking (5 hours). Breakfast, Transfer to the 4.national park – Paklenica, a national park on the southern side of Velebit, the largest mountain massif of Croatia. Two impressive canyons of Velika and Mala Paklenica, vertically cut into the mountain from the sea to the peaks are the main attraction of the park; there are several unusual carstic forms, several caves, and extremely rich and varied flora and fauna; monumental steep rock Anica kuk is the most popular destination for Croatian alpinists training. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Day 5: Kayak/Canoe (15 km). Today we will explore the Zrmanja and Krupa rivers by kayaking down easy rapids in a magnificent canyon and perhaps swimming under wonderful waterfalls. If the water level is high (usually in spring and autumn) we will use rafts because the rapids are often too challenging for beginning kayakers. After the river trip and a picnic we will walk through the walled town of Zadar, enjoy a drink on a promenade while listening to the sounds of the world famous sea organ. Day 6: Hiking (5 hours). Breakfast, Plitvice lakes are considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. The sixteen lakes, connected by waterfalls, cascade through the picturesque surrounding. Plitvice Lakes were declared a national park in 1949. A guided tour of the park lasts about 5 hrs including panoramic train and a boat. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Day 7: Rafting Una (17 km). After breakfast transfer to Bihac where we will start our rafting trip on Una river, which ist situated between Croatia and Bosnia. The headwaters of Una is drinkable, and was declared a national park which is a remarkable proof of purity of the river and the main reason why Una is considered an oasis for the nature lovers.After Rafting we will organize picnic.
