- Our tours are only on the dates listed, not year-round unless you book a custom trip with a minimum of 8-10 people
- The dates for this journey are June 17 - 22.
Every relationship is an artistic co-creation based on the level of integrity each person is operating from. If we come filled with love and the desire to give generously, unconditionally and openly – magic unfolds. If we come in lack and need, hoping that someone is going to complete us or love what we dislike in most in ourselves – suffering is inevitable. When our relationship with our SELF is healthy, filled with self-acceptance and self-esteem, this creates a solid foundation for any relationship to build upon.
Using the book The Mastery of Love (by don Miguel Ruiz) as our guide, your facilitator, author Sheri Rosenthal, will explore the relationship we have with ourselves, then the connections we have with our friends and co-workers, our family and partners, and finally with Spirit. Each day our focus will expand as we move past the blocks and limitations that are preventing us from having the juiciest relationships! You don’t need to be in a romantic relationship to come on this retreat – you just need to be human.
Every morning we’ll meet in group and then have the afternoon free to explore Santa Fe. El Santuario de Chimayo and The Monastery of Christ in the Desert will be two of the heart-felt places we will be exploring. At El Santuario you will join the thousands of pilgrims who have come to this little church each year to pray for healing and to take home some sacred blessed earth. Wondrous miracles have occurred here and being in the energy of this historic shrine is very special. At The Monastery of Christ in the Desert, we will enjoy the quietude of this retreat center perfect for meditation and reflection. And no visit to Santa Fe can be complete without a visit to the Cathedral of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the city.
Art, Food, and Culture
There will be plenty of time to visit the Georgia O’Keefe art museum, local galleries in town, great restaurants, and the charming shops. The history and traditions of the American Indians are very powerful in Santa Fe and you will see this reflected in the artist expression of the locals. There is a vibrant night life and you can see the famous Juan Siddi Flamenco Theatre Company, or dance to live blues, jazz, pop or folk music in one of Santa Fe’s clubs and bars. A visit to Ten Thousand Waves Spa is the perfect place relax one afternoon. It’s about celebrating ourselves, life and each other!
