- 13 day voyage includes 9-11 days kayaking
- Grade: Moderate
- Departure: 25 Jun-7 Jul.
We invite paddlers to explore the Kuril Islands and Kamchatka in the Russian Far East. These secluded islands and spectacular coastline are one of the least explored regions on earth. Using our expedition ship, the Akademik Shokalskiy, as our floating base, we venture forth on day paddles, sharing the water with inquisitive seals and sea otters whilst the air is alive with thousands of sea birds. The landscape is dramatic- snow capped volcanoes, hot springs, waterfalls and towering sea stacks. Paddlers will be amazed at the diversity of wildlife, the scenery of fire and ice and the remote kayaking opportunities on this amazing trip.
