From the fortress opens a magnificent view over the canyon of the river Dzoraget.

The valley abounds of springs, the clear water flows down the slopes, constantly crossing the path.

After an hour or two the path approaches the spot where the left tributary – the stream Ledzhandzhur flows into the river. At this point, to the top, right under the cliffs, a trail leads to a small chapel, built inside the grotto, and just below a waterfall of spring water rushes down the tributary.

The following three hours the route passes through a very picturesque place - the canyon becomes deeper; at the top – impregnable high cliffs, at the bottom – the forest and the raging river. Under the rocks there are many grottos and caves.
