Guarded by the great mountains Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Leaota and Iezer- Papusa lies the Rucar- Bran Lane, a place where the landscape is made after the human size although it borrows the greatness form of the neighboring mountains. This unique place has a dazzling beauty and a harmony that vibrates along with your soul. The villages are situated over the ancient precincts of the dwellings that found a way to survive in that area even in the dawn of history. In our hike we are going to walk on the footsteps of the people that once lived a pure and simple life in the heart of these mountains.
The settlements are combined with the landscape so you can find villages gathered in the valleys or scattered over the high hills. The moving of the flocks, the haymaking and the preparation of various types of cheese are traditions that are being kept and treasured by the villagers. The Bucegi mountains and Piatra Craiului are guarding this tranquil place. In our trip we are going to have an incursion in the heart of these giant.
