The tour begins with a descent towards the center of the earth, with a trip to the Underground City of Kaymakli, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia's many such settlements. From here we drive to Soganli Valley, an Open Air Museum in a wild natural setting near a typical Cappadocian village with its different style rock-cut churches with their unique frescoes. After lunch in the village we drive to Sobessos Ancient City and visit the Roman bath from 5th century and graves from Byzantine Empire period.
After Sobessos we visit the Keslik Monastery, one of the biggest monastic areas in Cappadocia with several churches carved into the rocks, and definitely the biggest refectory in the whole area. Then we drive to Mustafapasa Village through the unspoiled villages of Cappadocia, surrounded by the "table-top" mountains. Mustafapasa is a village where Greek people lived until the population exchange in 1924. Consequently the village has many fine examples of the Greek Architecture. We complete the tour with a visit to the Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys, which are the best examples of fairy chimneys and the official symbol of Cappadocia.
