Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Amboseli National Park. Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport met and assisted by our representative and depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in good time for lunch. Amboseli which means "a place of water", is situated at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon game drive - a chance to see large herds of elephants which have some of the largest tusks in Kenya. Other game includes: zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, leopard, caracal and serval cat. The park boasts a rich bird life such as ibis, egret, avocet, common and saddle-billed stork, secretary bird, heron, vultures, ducks, and geese. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Full-board. Day 2: Amboseli National Park. Spend the day in Amboseli with game drives in the morning and late afternoon. Despite its sometimes dry and dusty appearance, the park has an endless water supply filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro's snow melt. The landscape is open and bushy savannah dotted with thickets and some acacias. It is an important rangeland in Maasai culture. All meals and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Full-board. Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Ark. After breakfast depart for Central Kenya arriving at the Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch. Transfer to the Ark for floodlit game viewing, dinner and overnight stay at the Ark. Full-Board. Day 4: Ark – Samburu Game Reserve. After breakfast depart for the Northern part of Kenya, Samburu Game Reserve passing through the equator arriving in good time for lunch at your lodge, afternoon game drive in search of the elusive leopard, lion, elephants, gerenuk, grevys zebra, reticulted giraffe, Oryx and many others. Samburu Game Reserve is situated in a semi arid, dinner overnight stay at Samburu Sopa lodge. Full-board. Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve. Morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve. All meals overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge. Full-board. Day 6: Samburu Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in good time for lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge. Afternoon game drive in the park and around this lake that is famous for its large concentration of pink flamingoes and other birdlife. Here you have wonderful opportunities for color photography masses of pink bodies glide above the reflection of blue water, it’s also the first rhino sanctuary for both the black and white species, you will have a chance to see many species including reedbuck, bushbuck, warthog, leopard, baboons and Rothschild giraffe call Lake Nakuru as their home and many others, dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Full-board. Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara. After breakfast depart to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley and then via Narok town (the major Maasai administrative center) to one of the stellar events of your safari Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya's most precious wildlife sanctuary. This is a big game country and long famed as one of Africa's greatest concentrations of game. Plains game are found here in staggering numbers which in turns supports a tremendous predator population. Arriving in time for lunch. During your afternoon game drive, you shall have an opportunity to see herds of buffalo, lion, Impala, giraffe, elephant, warthog, ostrich, cheetah, hyena, and many others. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge. Full-board. Days 8-9: Masai Mara. Morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve. Maasai Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here black rhinos browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Large numbers of hippos gather and swim in the Mara River. Boasting Kenya's largest predator population, the reserve is renowned for its large lion prides. Tonight you will dream of all the wonders of Africa, dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sarova Tented Camp. Full-board. Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi. After breakfast depart for Nairobi.
