Slovenia, this sunny side of Alps is a small but very diverse country, which offers an incredible variety of rivers. Each of them have their own characteristics and fish species, making you constantly adjust your fly-fishing techniques. If you are new to fly-fishing, you can enjoy learning and improving your fishing abilities on the Sava Bohinjka, Soca or Radovna river. If you are an expert, you can test your stalking and river-craft skills on this challeging rivers and lakes.
While fly-fishing you will be surrounded just by birds singing, whisper of the wind, murmur of the creek or silence of the lake surface. Are you curious about the life in the river pools and in lake depths? In our waters you will enjoy fly-fishing in unspoiled nature. Breathtaking scenery, plenty of fish, spectacular fly-fishing. Species diversity offers you brown trouts, rainbows, huge marble trouts, chars, brook trouts, beautiful graylings and pikes. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Arrival in Bohinj. Individual arrival to Lake Bohinj. Accommodation in fisherman's friendly 4* hotel, located close to the river where you will be fishing. Bohinj has plenty of hiking possibilities, we are happy to give you some suggestions where to go and as well plenty of sightseeing possibilities. Day 2: Bohinj – Fly-fishing in Sava river. After early breakfast (or packed breakfast) we will take you with private transfer to close by village Laški Rovt where you will be fishing in morning hours. In lunch time optional picnic or transfer back to hotel. In afternoon you are free to fly-fish in Sava river – best at St. John the Baptist Churche Bridge or across the street from hotel. Day 3: Bohinj – Fly-fishing in Sava River. After early breakfast (or packed breakfast) we will take you to main village in valley - to Bohinjska Bistrica where you will be fishing in morning hours. At lunch time optional picnic or transfer back to hotel. In afternoon you are free to fly-fish in Sava river – best at St. John the Baptist Churche Bridge or across the street from hotel. Day 4: Departure after breakfast. Sava River is the longest alpine river in Slovenia. It starts divided into two forks, the Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinjka rivers. Her upper part is world famous for its grayling as well as for large rainbows and browns. Not only in warmer part of the season also in winter time it is ideal for fly-fishing for our land-locked Danube salmon.
