Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Bled. Main attractions: the town of Bled with a beautiful lake, island and castle. You can make a boat trip on the lake Bled and visit it's island with beautiful Mary's church with bell of wishes. Overnight in Hotel Vila Bled. Guided tour of premises included in the price/programme.

Day 2: Bled - Brdo. At the foothills of the beautiful Kamnik - Savinja Alps amid the natural riches lies the Brdo estate. Here the highest state protocol events, exclusive congresses and conferences and other luxurious happenings take place. Brdo has exceptional histroy but the crown of the natural and cultural heritage of Brdo is the renaissance castle, neighboured by the new modern congress centre, four-star hotel. Historic highlights: the castle of Bled, owned for 850 years by the bishops of Brixen; ruins of mighty fortress Stein. One of very few Slovene town palaces in Radovljica nowdays houses Beekeeping Museum. Overnight in Hotel Kokra Brdo.

Day 3: Brdo - Vrhnika - Predjama. Historic highlights: the Castle of Škofja Loka with partisan movement museum; Technical Museum of Slovenia houses also a great hunting collection, apart from Tito's cars. Overnight in hotel Kras Postojna.

Day 4: Predjama - Snežnik - Ljubljana. Historic highlights: "one-off" fortress Predjama belonged to a nasty knight Erasmus Luegger who used to rob merchant enroute to Trieste. After long besiege, the Kaisers army brought him down by a trick. Castles Snežnik belonged to the government and is full of interesting exhibits - including hunting trophees of former Party members. Overnight in City Hotel Ljubljana.

Day 5: Ljubljana - Turjak - Otocec. Historic highlights: the castle of Turjak, owned by Auersperg family - rulers of a quarter of this country for centuries. The castle was badly damaged during last world war. They also had a "holiday castle" Soteska, the ruins of which are also visited during this trip.

Day 6: Otocec - Mokrice. 45 km from Novo Mesto to the Croatian border. Historic highlights: two visits - the baroque castle of Brežice with it's famous painted ceiling. The trip finishes in Mokrice - a mighty fortress reconstructed in a **** hotel. Overnight in Hotel Grad Mokrice.

Day 7: Mokrice. After breakfast end of journey.
