11 Days, Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari Day1: Nairobi Arrival in Nairobi; Pick-up and Transfer to the Hotel; Dinner and Overnight at Silver springs Hotel Day 2: Nairobi |Amboseli National Park Early breakfast and depart immediately driving southward to Amboseli National Park. The park lies at an altitude range of about 1200 - 1400m. The spectacular view of the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro makes it a principal attraction. Also rich with wildlife that are attracted to the park by the permanent swamp water that percolate to the ground from the melting glacier. Arrive in time for lunch. Dinner & overnight Amboseli Sopa Lodge or its equivalent Day 3: Amboseli Today we spend a full day at the park in search of more wildlife and we hope the weather will be good for a better view of the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro. Dinner & overnight at Ol-Tukai Lodge. Day 4: Amboseli | Sweetwaters We depart after an early breakfast headed to Sweetwaters via Nairobi for lunch. The exclusive and luxurious tented camp is located in the secluded heart of the Ol pejeta conservancy and Rhino sanctuary. From the Ranch, the view of Mount Kenya is magnificent. It’s here also we have Chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner and Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented camp. Day 5: Sweetwaters Today we spend a full day in the ranch and possibly a night game drive for nocturnal wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater Tented Camp Day 6: Sweetwaters |Lake Nakuru National Park We leave after breakfast to Lake Nakuru National Park, referred as ‘Birdwatchers’ paradise….and so much more’ for its millions of seasonal Lesser and greater flamingoes. The lake is a Ramsar Site - a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention of 1971. Also a Rhino Sanctuary i.e. both Black & white; home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Other animals include herds of buffalos, leopard, lion, and troops of baboons, Colobus monkeys and varieties of plain antelope. We arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive will follow around the lakeshore. Dinner & overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge Day 7: Nakuru | Lake Naivasha After breakfast, check-out with en-route game drive exiting the park destined to Lake Naivasha - freshwater lake in the Rift Valley. The lake boasts of a large colony of hippos and rich birdlife. A visit to the Crescent Island which is completely wild and undeveloped and one the few places in Africa where you can wander on foot among herds of zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and giraffe. Our overnight accommodation club is built on 12ha of green lawns shaded dominated by woodland acacias –Yellow-barked (Fever) acacia. An optional boat ride; Dinner and Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sawela Lodge Day 8: Lake Naivasha | Masai Mara National Reserve We head to Masai Mara Game Reserve famed for the ‘Great annual wildebeest migration from Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The reserve is home to ‘Big Five’ while the vast plains of rolling golden savannah grassland offering a breathtaking view. The plains are dispersal area and support plain games and their predators. We arrive in time for lunch at the camp, some time to relax and later leave for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp Day 9 & 10: Masai Mara We will have two consecutive days to explore the famed reserve. The game drives will commence early morning game drive before dawn, with a return to our camp for a late breakfast and mid-morning relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp Day 11: Masai Mara | Nairobi Today we depart and drive to Nairobi arriving late evening in time for dinner at Carnivore Restaurant, later transferred to the airport for your international flight home.
