- Mainly primates including gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda, chimpanzees, - Game drives and a boat trip in Queen Elizabeth - Lake Mburo - Tree climbing lions in Ishasha. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe – Kampala (42 km). On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your representative from Churchill Safaris who will then transfer you to Kampala for the overnight at Boma Guest house. B/B. Day 2: Kampala – Kibale Forest (450 km approx. 5-6 hours). After breakfast, you will depart Kampala for Kibale Forest National park arriving in the afternoon and over night at Kluges Farm house. H/B. Day 3: Kibale Forest. This morning, you will go for chimp tracking and be part of the team that goes to study the behaviour of these primates in order to make them get used to human beings.In the afternoon, go for Bigodi swamp walk and over night at Kluges Farm house. H/B. Day 4: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park. (Approx. 2 hours drive) After breakfast, you will depart Kibale and then head for Queen Elizabeth National Park having a game drive while entering the park arriving and over night at Katara lodge. F/B. Day 5: Queen Elizabeth. This morning, we will go for a game drive to the Kasenyi area returning to the lodge in time for a heartily breakfast and later go for the boat trip on Kazinga channel and over night at Katara lodge. F/B. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha sector. After breakfast, you will have a game drive as you depart Queen Elizabeth for the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth (Ishasha) famed for the tree climbing lions arriving at the camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive and over night at River Camp. H/B. Day 7: Ishasha – Mgahinga National park. (Approx. 5 hours drive). Have a morning game drive and later drive to Kisoro and over night Nkuringo Safari lodge. Day 8: Gorilla Tracking – Mgahinga National park or Nkuringo Bwindi southern group. Have breakfast and go for gorilla tracking and over night at Nkuringo Safari Lodge. H/B. Day 9: Mgahinga – Rwanda. This morning you will go for an optional boat trip on Lake Mutanda or an optional visit to the Batwa community in Nyakabande where you will be entertained and later drive to Rwanda for the optional 2nd gorilla tracking. Dinner and over night at La Palme hotel. H/B. Day 10: Optional gorilla tracking in Rwanda. Have breakfast and go for gorilla tracking and over night at La Palme hotel. H/B. Day 11: Optional visit to the Golden monkeys/Diana Fossey’s grave – Lake Bunyonyi. This morning you will have an option of going to either visit the Golden monkey’s or the Diana Fossey’s grave and later cross the boarder and over night at Arcadia Cottages. H/B. Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park. After breakfast you will depart Lake Bunyonyi for Lake Mburo national park having a game drive while entering the park and over night at Arcadia Lake Mburo Lodge. H/B. Day 13: Lake Mburo – Kampala. After breakfast, have game drive or an optional guided forest walk and then proceed to Entebbe having a stop to look at the Royal Drum makers, the Equator - where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once arriving in the evening to catch your flight back home.
