This package includes 3 days of amazing walks and treks on mountain routes in the Sudetes on both the Polish and Czech sides. We have selected what is, in our opinion, one of the best places to go mountain walking and trekking. Open spaces, wide and long valleys and picturesque, mountain pine covered slopes provide the best of impressions with magnificent views, leaving you “pleasantly tired” – that exceptional feeling familiar to all mountain lovers and hikers. The trails lead through some of the most interesting places. It is not crowded here, hence you can admire the scenery in peace and enjoy the fresh and clean air. Apart from this, each day during the trekking we will see examples of the common culture and history of Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany because Sudetes is the place where these three countries meet. First day - we will meet the source of the Elbe river – one of greatest rivers in Europe which starts in Sudetes, flows through the Czech Republic, then Germany and ends in the North Sea. Second day - we can visit a small chapel located on the highest peak of Sudetes Sniezka. The chapel was founded by a German count Christophe Schaffgotch in 1655. Today it is a place where every year on 10th August all the “people of the mountains” such as mountain guides, mountain rescuers and border guards, gather to celebrate their Day. Third day - we will visit the temple Wang – built in the twelfth century in Norway. In 1841 it was dismantled and moved to Berlin until finally finding its place in our mountains in 1842. So now we have a prime example of wooden Norwegian sacral architecture in the middle of the Sudetes Mountains.
After 3 trekking days we get an approximately 3 hour deluxe coach trip to Prague. “Hundred-spire Prague”, “Prague – the mother of cities”, “magical Prague”. These are just three titles which the capital of the Czech Republic proudly bears. Since the very beginnings of the Czech state, it has been its natural political, business and cultural centre. This historic yet modern city is more than 1,000 years old. It has an extraordinary charm about it which can be sensed in every season. Its status as a UNESCO World Heritage site speaks for its worth.
