Since the very beginnings of the Czech state, it has been its natural political, business and cultural centre. This historic yet modern city is more than 1,000 years old. After 3 days stay in this city you get a 3 hour coach trip to the Sudetes which are a superb place for mountain trekking and hiking. The trails lead through some of the most interesting places on both the Polish and Czech sides. It is not crowded here, hence one can admire the scenery in peace and enjoy fresh and clean air. We organize trips which show the diversity and charm of the Sudetes: - hikes in higher parts of the mountains with dominant open spaces and beautiful panoramic views of the Polish and Czech sides, walking on pristine trails, educational paths and exploring wild spots in the mountains; - trekking in Rudawy Janowickie Scenic Park where the routes wind through forest, between hills and rock formations and the resting place is situated by the ruins of a medieval castle. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Arrival at Prague; transfer to the hotel (check-in); welcome meeting; dinner, free time. Day 2: Breakfast; Prague sightseeing part 1 – Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Old Town City Hall, Powder Gate; lunch; dinner; free time. Day 3: Breakfast; Prague sightseeing part 2 – Vysehrad, Charles Square, Emauzy-The Monastery of Slavic Benedictines, Evening walk on Petrin; lunch; dinner; free time. Day 4: Breakfast; transfer to mountain town Karpacz situated on Polish side of Sudetes Mountains (around 3 hours). Check in; lunch; free time – time to relax or for activities: swimming pools, sauna, spa & wellness, gym, bowling, squash; walk to the town. Day 5: Hiking in the lower parts of the mountains. Breakfast, transfer to the Rudawy Janowickie Scenic Park; a walk on the routes winding trough charming forest; on the way the ruins of medieval castle Bolczow, view spots, interesting rock formations and XVIII century palaces. Dinner at Wojanow Palace; return to the hotel. Day 6: Day trekking in the higher parts of the mountains situated on both Polish and Czech sides. Breakfast, transfer to the Karkonoski National Park; going up to mountain by the mountain lift; trek to the source of Elba river (one of the most spectacular in Europe); walk down through Labsky Dul to Spindlerovy Mlyn (Czech Republic), on the way beautiful panoramic views, waterfalls, amazing rock formation; lunch at the Spindlerovy Mlyn (well known, charming mountain town). After lunch walk to chairlift to Medvedin (mountain), from there trek to the Labska Bouda (short stop) along very picturesque trail, which winds to the top of Pancavsky Valley. After a break trek to the Polish side of the Karkonosze Mts. through Sniezne Kotly (snow cirques) and further walk to the top of the main ridge of Polish Karkonosze (on the way Wielki Szyszak 1509 m and Smielec 1424 m). Walk down through Czarny Kociol Jagniatkowski (black cirque) to small mountain village Jagniatkow. Transfer to hotel; supper. This trip is full of beautiful views and open spaces. Day 7: After breakfast short walk (4 hours) to St. Anna’s Chapel and to the spring Dobre Zrodlo (Good Spring) situated in the middle of the mountain forest; return to the hotel; lunch; free time; faraway dinner.
